Legitimately feels like I’m playing BR on All Star with this monitor in WS games. Very early on Cabrera, but can still see and time off speed fairly easily.

Haha I am barely above 500 and was hitting .196 last week not sure what it is now. Yep I suck at hitting.

Yikes. I just came back from a week "vacation" myself, but it was unrelated to this thread. Guess we gotta be more patient and diplomatic with the "ignorant and unknowing individuals" around here.
i don't mind the odd booting - i know we are right at the end of the day - similar to getting put into the penalty box - i appreciate you jumping in there - hope all is well and you're enjoying the summer so far

Most of my biggest weaknesses have nothing to do timing, so it would do me very little good to bother with a monitor. Even if it did help, playing on a smaller screen just isn't as much fun.
The content is designed so that even the worst players can field a pretty amazing team if they're willing to work at it, so I could care less about ever being "elite." In my experience the most negative and toxic people who post on here typically have way better records than me, so if playing on my TV means I'll never get good enough to be matched up with any of them then I'm totally content with continuing to suck.
I’ve played on monitors, but always went back to TVs. I find it unbearable to play on a small monitor in a chair…I need my couch and 60 inch. Hasn’t affected my play at all either.

It's funny to see this thread this morning... Friday I got bombarded with people saying I didn't know what I'm talking about saying that a monitor is a huge advantage in this game. It is a huge advantage and my whole lineup has boosted their averages +.100 in just a few RS games since I got one last week. Without it.... I was about a .125 hitter.... I couldn't hit at all in online.

It might not be a huge difference for some, or if you have a really good TV... but there has been a HUGE difference between my TV and new monitor.... I can feel the difference just in navigating menus. Some are in denial I think.

And don’t get me wrong. I’m pro monitor and have been for years. I’m just saying that people that are spending $700+ on a monitor for a PS or Xbox are throwing their money away. Plenty of good spec monitors to be had for $350 or less.

I mean being 27-6 means you have played all of your games on all star or below. You can’t come at the dude for his batting average when he has been playing half his games or more on Legend.
yeah but also you aren't factoring all of the HOF events which i love playing - plus i don't have time like a kid to be gaming all day - this is just the time i have to play this year - my records each year since 2017 are terrific - much better than that whiney random loser - also factor in how low my ERA is considering i am playing mostly on AS - its just under 2 ERA i believe
That’s because you don’t play above the 600’s… come on now…. You’re getting on my case for what? Making World Series? When’s the last time you made World Series? Let alone Championship series…. My lifetime rank is 16314 (last time I checked)…. Out of 518,000+ players. That’s top 3% of all players. I’m not the best player and there are a lot of players who are better than me. But being ranked higher than 97% of the community isn’t bad. Considering I’ve only played DD since 2020

The key is response time. I think most newer TVs are in the 15-20ms range. Monitors can be as low as 1ms.

I figured out a few things about the LG CX if that is what you have.
Turn off HDR and Variable Refresh Rate/G-Sync/Freesync on both the Xbox/PS5 and TV side.
Use the HDMI port in the back of the TV.
Would this apply to the Alienware monitor as well? Currently running G-Sync, VRR, and HDR.

I am on the verge of buying the 55" C1... seeing this made me doubt myself for a second, but I'm not going to buy a 24" 1080p monitor just to go from 120Hz to 240Hz. (Although saving a thousand dollars would be nice...)
