I did hours and hours of reading through forums and on Reddit. I have tested probably 15 monitors including a 2000 dollar LG CX that I own. I basically did an extensive scientific research project and am sharing my final findings. People can tell me im stupid or not believe me or whatever, but like I said on my OP the Alienware I linked is the best value in order to get the advantages of 240 Hz.
I appreciate your advice bro…. Just remember these forums are filled with players who struggle playing the show. It’s their space to vent about the game. And they like to belittle people who are good at the game.

Everyone is free to share personal experiences and opinions. But that's all it is, personal experiences and opinions. The facts and the numbers don't lie. A 250h monitor is nothing but a big waste of money for console players. You're welcome.

I almost wish they could seperate out tv gamers vs monitor gamers. I have a 65" tv in my living room, i want to play on that. I do not want to play on a 25" computer screen but it seems you absolutely have to if you want to be competitive.
I agree. I have a very nice 65” as well but I use a $150 monitor way more when I’m into playing this game. Kind of crazy they would make a game that basically needs to be played on a monitor.
Then again, they slowed pitch speeds in 18 and it was ridiculous but I’m sure it was nice for TV users.

I play on the 65" OLED with a 120 refresh and i am close to .500 is RS. Does it make that much of a difference using a monitor? One of my sons plays a lot of COD and said the refresh rate was pretty good for a tv. I am not buying a $1k monitor to play this regardless. That a lot of good wine!

Yeah how can someone who bats .262 belittle another man with a straight face? That doesn't even come close to justify all the garbage you talk to everyone around here. I mean it's never a good look, but hey if you wanna do that, at least make sure you got the stats to back it up.

You can find decent monitors for around $150. It definitely does make a difference but if you’re having fun now, just stick to what you’re doing.
The key is response time. I think most newer TVs are in the 15-20ms range. Monitors can be as low as 1ms.

There are plenty of players around here who make WS pretty casually. And they also outhit you in every single category, yet they don't boast about it like you. Because it really isn't that much of an accomplishment, but we all know how happy you are with your measly 913 rating so we get it.

a monitor won’t helpLol your record is only 60-25. Imagine making fun of people’s records when you barely have a .700 winning pct and hit .262 with Shippett as your home park
To make it even worse you’re hitting .244 this season with Shippett. Holy cow that’s terrible to be judging someone else’s record haha

Nah, this game is tough. Just don’t see why that kid is talking down to everyone like he’s some god level player lol

Yeah how can someone who bats .262 belittle another man with a straight face? That doesn't even come close to justify all the garbage you talk to everyone around here. I mean it's never a good look, but hey if you wanna do that, at least make sure you got the stats to back it up.

There are plenty of players around here who make WS pretty casually. And they also outhit you in every single category, yet they don't boast about it like you. Because it really isn't that much of an accomplishment, but we all know how happy you are with your measly 913 rating so we get it.

Legitimately feels like I’m playing BR on All Star with this monitor in WS games. Very early on Cabrera, but can still see and time off speed fairly easily.
