Usually I forget a couple and give up for the month. Much easier to remember to check it within a three day span. Thanks!
I’ve got those….now I just need to put TTV in my name and everyone will tremble with fear.

PPP has been nerfed like crazy. I'm playing on Rookie for the conquests and my pitches are barely off on timing and the ball misses my spot by a foot. SDS is just ruining this game (again) because of all the crybabies...
PPP was stupid the way it was all year. Anyone that can swing the bat a little will be happy with nerfing idiotic pinpoint. Takes 1000 times more skill to square it up on offense than to get correct input on PPP.
PPP just allowed bums to compete throwing dots on the corners where the pci couldn’t reach.
There is something in your life that is causing you to be a scumbag which festers itself into how you play video games. Takes a decent amount of anger, hatred and effort to be that annoying.

The 2K gameplay might be [censored] but at least the servers will be better even tho 2K servers sucks
2K is a predatory trash company. Say what you will about contact swing and late hits or the servers.....SDS is outstanding in comparison.

Man there is a special place in hell for the people that habitually tap R2 a couple times perfectly spaced out to screw your timing up EVERY PITCH.
The same guys typically quick pitch as fast as possible so they certainly aren’t the innocent type that honestly want some extra time between pitches.
If you initiate or continue a long freeze off while losing a game of MLB The Show............nice life. Ill leave it at that.

@mubby_33_psn said in Timing Hitting is an albatross:
As someone who switched from directional to zone, zone is far superior, or at least it was the in 20 and 21. However, your argument assumes that those who have better skills with PCI should be better. Lets not pretend the game is simple RNG when it comes to hitting. HOw many perfect perfect line drives are caught by the infield? How many dead center fastballs are hit with good timing but end up as an infield pop up? A hung slider is tracked down by a common fielder in the gap. How many homeruns have you hit with an early swing and the PCI well under the ball? Lets just all admit that hitting this year is broken regardless what batting style you play.
Last night I got ten run ruled and couldn’t buy a hit against Stroman on Legend difficulty. Minutes later I ten run ruled someone pitching Corbin Burnes.
Obviously I put the pieces together and became great while searching for my next match.

Basically he is like a CAP pitcher. His slider and slurve travel in the same trajectory as his fastball so yeah if you know how to tunnel his pitches it’s easy to throw his pitches in the dirt and make them look like fastballs until the last second. His slider and slurve travel in the same trajectory as his fastball so yeah if you know how to tunnel his pitches it’s easy to throw his pitches in the dirt and make them look like fastballs until the last second. It’s not like it’s an exploit.

When you do Frank Thomas making diving plays. I think I'm the only one up here without collections. Super fun game. I do agree that Randy Johnson on legend is a joke. The ball comes out of his hand weird and people have found a way to spike offspeed pitches to make it look like a fastball out of the hand. Basically he is like a CAP pitcher.

The last dude I played with Randy had a .5 WHIP and ERA with Randy alongside an 18.8 K/9. I won the game, but those stats are obviously a joke and prove he is glitchy.
My monthly Kyle Wright card has over 20k’s per 9 in online play. And I haven’t played above All Star yet this year online. If you know how to pitch with the cards out there you’re gonna have high per 9 numbers.
You must have only faced all blind people with him lmao. Give me a break.
Doesn’t matter how good you think you are at tunneling or how superior your intellect is pitching is a joke on this game and PPP is not a skill. Literally 1,000 times more difficult to be a good hitter. Maybe I would be willing to give someone some credit if they can pitch with meter.
I’m not gonna argue with you over pitching input. All of them require timing. Pinpoint requires the most action prior to the timing aspect, that’s why it has the most reward along with the most risk of leaving something hittable.
I don’t care how good you think you are at pitching any competent player would light Kyle Wright up on All-Star or below.
Ok kid, let’s first get one thing straight, I make World Series every year. This year I haven’t had the opportunity to play much online. I’m well aware of the difference in difficulty going from AS to HOF. The point I was making had to do with the fact that I have had success with inferior pitchers on lower difficulty levels. Which an intelligent person would have deduced based on the conversation. So please go brag somewhere else I’m not impressed. Hope I get the opportunity to run into you online. We’ll see just how good you really are.
So have you faced Randy Johnson on HOF/Legend this year or no?
Yes I have. He’s tough no doubt.
To be honest if you objectively go back and read the posts I did not make a single reference to your skill level or mine. That all happened in your own mind.
