That's why I've been using zone + analog with stride. Timing windows with buttons are too inconsistent from hitter to hitter.
I’ve been using that off and on lately also with good results. I switch back to button if I have a laggy connection and the sinkers are coming in too fast.
Really glad I sold my Delgado yesterday to get Trout haha.
Knew this price increase was possible but I figured 20-30 K and couldn’t wait to finally grab Trout.

Same here….last night I played some guy that was fouling off everything. Meanwhile if I was slightly off center pci or off on timing I felt like it was in play for an easy out. The guy still Ks 12 times to 4 for me and there was one particular swing that I made that was terrible….I believe very late and outside of the outer pci and it gets put into play for an out haha. I wasn’t mad, just in awe.
I’m really glad I don’t feel the need to complete and grind everything dropped. Seems very stressful for you all.

That's just trash man. Something's people do to try and get a virtual win is amazing. I was playing a guy and started my pitch sequence and realized his pitcher was up, and I had put up a few runs so I stepped off the mound to reset in case I had acted too quickly for him to PH. He didn't, but still, I would rather know I didn't cheese him.
I do the same thing actually haha. I wait like five seconds to make sure they didn’t forget to ph for their pitcher.
I also misspoke…you don’t need to have it connected to a PC. You can load eight mod packs or whatever they are called and be set.

You seemed relatively interested, so I figured I’d give you a few takeaways from testing it out for a couple days.
There is actually a tournament mode….supposedly gives you an extra frame advantage over those who are not using it.
I’d describe the anti-recoil aim assist as it takes away the flimsiness of the pci…for instance when aiming your pitch on the corner with the left stick it can be annoying to stop it on the exact corner. With the Cronus it just stays where you want it. It’s helpful while hitting, but not a crazy advantage. Kind of nice for pitching…not really an advantage.
I honestly think the biggest advantage is the hair trigger/rapid fire. In my opinion it changes the behavior of the button press for swinging quite a bit. Seems like you can get your swing off quicker and also check swing more easily. If you have played a check swing master they may have been using the Cronus or another back or controller mode for this function.

I don't play a lot of ranked. I'm currently 4-3, and all 3 of the losses were crashes on the lineup screen while loading into the game. Has this been an issue for anyone else? I play a ton of BR and event games and never really have that issue with them. The only thing I can think to do is delete and reinstall.
Just wanted to chip in that it happened to me and after four or five Ls I erased the game save content….not a full reinstall of the app and it worked.

Yea that’s weak. I’ve had people do it for one pitch, but I can usually get the timeout/pause for the 2nd pitch.
The other day I had a similar “exploit” type play like this. 2 outs and I had a runner on second. Took ONE extra step lead. Opponent pauses and I know he’s going to bring a middle IF in tight to the bag so I start immediately pressing the D pad to step out. He comes out of the pause and is able to immediately throw to 2B and pick me off despite me trying to step out and send my runner back immediately. That was nonsense.
Missed your response because it brought me to the reply first. My bad…..luckily you don’t encounter too many crazy people out there.

Sweet. Not worth it, being a life long 750 player isn't that bad I guess lol
It’s not really worth it honestly unless you want to gain steaming clout or something I guess. People are out there looking for every possible advantage and this certainly qualifies.
Apex is a good example. Even if you have anti recoil aim assist it doesn’t play the game for you. You can still get shot in the back or outsmarted.
Seems overwhelming when you first start it but it’s easy once you get through everything and they have good instructions. Effortless once it’s set up.

Yeah the pc is on running the device while it is also has the console and controller plugged into it. You can Bluetooth the controller but I haven’t gotten that far into it yet to test it.

Yeah it’s not far off from using joystick rings, rubber bands, Kontrol freeks, etc….still you can feel the difference.
I mean if dudes spend 2 grand to lock for randy Johnson the first day I’m sure they probably dropped 100 dollars on one of these and took an hour to learn how to work it.

Not sure if you ever play Apex but it’s an absolute joke just the anti recoil turbo fire. You can just take the R99 and it shoots dead center with no recoil.

Helps with the finishing motion immensely in my opinion.

Unfortunately it is pretty bad.
There are no files specifically for MLB hitting, but if you simply download a generic aim assist anti recoil file and load it PPP and hitting are significantly easier. I would describe it as smoothing out the pci movement to an extreme. You don’t have the finicky pci placement…it just works so much better.
It won’t make a bad player good, but the PPP is effortless and if you are decent at reading pitches it helps immensely with pci placement.
Took me about 60-90 minutes to update the firmware and figure out the software after picking it up from GameStop. It connects to your controller, a pc, and to the console….so even if streamers are using it you would have no idea because it would still look like a normal controller in their hand and any manipulation is done from the PC menu.
Pretty disappointing…works better than I thought it would for mlb, especially when I didn’t see any hitting files to load.
