Exploit preventing pinch hitters.

I was playing a top 50 guy IAMHARPER2 and I brought in Joc Pederson to face a righty.
He put in a lefty and paused the game. He immediately pitched after unpausing. He proceeded to do this the entire at bat and I could not pause the game. I even used the batter time animation on the dpad.
I’ll have to give an award to this guy for being the biggest tool I have ever played. I had no idea this exploit existed.

I had a guy do that to me to get the first strike but I was able to beat him to the pause button before the next pitch. Very weak sportsmanship for sure.

Yea that’s weak. I’ve had people do it for one pitch, but I can usually get the timeout/pause for the 2nd pitch.
The other day I had a similar “exploit” type play like this. 2 outs and I had a runner on second. Took ONE extra step lead. Opponent pauses and I know he’s going to bring a middle IF in tight to the bag so I start immediately pressing the D pad to step out. He comes out of the pause and is able to immediately throw to 2B and pick me off despite me trying to step out and send my runner back immediately. That was nonsense.

That’s weak. I’m a little confused though, how come you couldn’t pause (while he was paused)?

If you just go into the quick pause screen(or whatever it’s called) to make a sub or go to your pen your opponent can’t do anything. Only when it’s a full pause.

Quick menu…it was impossible to pause. It’s an exploit.

That's just trash man. Something's people do to try and get a virtual win is amazing. I do the same thing actually haha. I wait like five seconds to make sure they didn’t forget to ph for their pitcher.

Been like that for past 5 years! When i brought it up people wanted to argue tell me i was full of [censored]. Which is one of the reasons i'm in favor of R2.

I literally googled the guys name I just played to find this post and see its the same guy who did the exact same thing to me, I have recorded it and submitted a report. This kid should be banned.

I know this is video game….. I grew up playing sports, I feel like a little sportsmanship ( if you call it that in video games) goes a long way in this game.
