I'm gonna be honest. I'm no spring chicken, I've gotten my game up. A lot of the game is randomness too and I'll admit that (even tho I like it) so i think rebel might beat me maybe about half the time.

From what i heard the 16 servers shutdown last March

The market for 16 is still up and I'm pretty sure I was poking around in Diamond Dynasty for 16 several months ago.

My approach against really good opponents is to make a pitcher throw at least 20 pitches an inning.. ends up draining their bullpen quickly. It's annoying but effective. I also believe that the game rewards players better for working the counts more.

The excessive foul balls definitely help with this but I hope to see them gone in 20. Last time they tried to change very early foul tips we had the disaster of 1.13

Can SDS implement a required god [censored] decent internet connection before we match up with people. In between pitches, fly balls, innings, etc, it’s a 30 second wait each time. This has never happened to me yet before now but it’s ridiculous.

Do you have your PS set to 5 GZ? I have a Orbi in AG mode , PS set to the faster 5 gz..I had the same issues..Ever since then perfect..I got so many errors from network errors even with the mesh..Wasnt always my fault as I did some digging..Just the way I had it set up..My set up now is wifi and runs like hardwired..Mesh Network is key..Those modems from Comcast, Verizon etc dont cut it.

A mesh would be a redundant connection to each node. You are using a point-to-multipoint topology.

And I really hope you guys have a monumental new version of this game because honestly. 19 is by far the worst version ever and 18 was bad which means the games have progressively gotten worse. 18 was 10x worse than 19. To the point half of us don't even acknowledge it's existence.

I think people exaggerate how bad 18 was even more than people exaggerate how good 16 was

Nah. I went back and played 17 because 18 was so terrible. Literally only 1 meta offensively and defensively.

So I recently heard that turning off the audio sync on the tv is helpful in reducing lag. I also heard that, if you have a smart tv, that turning off auto updates on apps is also helpful.
