I wasted my time reading both comments. Give me an L as well.

I wish people would stop letting corporations hide behind covid. They still released a broken product a month late and for full price. They knew there would be more people than ever playing and they didn't stress test their servers. So for the first 3 weeks you just couldn't play. They have read the comments for months about contact swings and ppp. They allowed and still allow so many people to exploit and cheat the game with no consequence. I'm sorry, but a gameplay patch 2 months into an already shortened game cycle doesn't warrant me praising them. I enjoy the game and I'm glad they patched what they did. But I don't understand why we as gamers allow these companies to sell us copy and pasted broken garbage and then when they finally fix it we are supposed to bow down. Call me crazy but I feel like these million dollar companies should be able to sell us a working product on day one or they shouldn't be selling them at all.

I find a little humor a Stros fan would complain about people cheating the game.

Thank you. As a light user compared to many, I have lost progress in several missions and such. I hope that you will decide to provide some good packs as an apology. Not everyone who supports this game is a "gamer" who plays hours and hours, so for us, to lose the time for a showdown and several other missions, makes it more difficult to complete programs. Thank you for your consideration of such an offering.
They've given out packs/stubs in previous years for the same issue. I'm sure they'll be doing it again since this is the worst it's ever been.

Perhaps 1 game is too small of a sample size.
Nah. 1 game is not small with those stats. RNG is boosted to the lower ranked team. How can I beat someone ranked 150 points higher than me then lose to someone 75 points lower than me? Both games were comeback wins in the 9th.
SDS, screw hitting. Please fix pitching (accuracy) and guys with no bunting skills laying down perfect bunts every time.
Riddle me this SDS. Guy with 35 bunt rating lays them down perfectly, but a pitcher with 85 control & bb/9 misses the target 70% of the time.
I tried that. Didn’t have anything to complain about. Turned it back on. Started complaining again.

That shouldn’t be the case. If he out smashes the guy 3-1, he should win. If the guy strikes out 20 times, he’s not a good hitter and shouldn’t be rewarded. RNG knew it and adjusted accordingly to help the guy who couldn’t touch the ball 75% of the time.

Finally showing some love for the best team in the 90’s.
It's not as fun this year. It's such a crapshoot on who will get screwed in each game. I'm hitting homers with balls outside the PCI and the other guy boots routine grounds in the bottom of the 9th to lose. Ever since I changed to analog pitching, it hasn't been as bad. Hitting is just a mess. Law of physics does not apply to this year's game.

@tonythetiger2k16 said in Future Stars Series Cards This year is a JOKE!!!:
Yes every year MLBTS releases Future Star Series Cards. However IMO they really overkilled it with too many cards that has juiced attributes making them better than most real life career established players. I get the fantasy aspect of "what if" these players will be that good within their career & I get the fantasy aspect of playing with the players you personally know of because they are in the farm system of your favorite team. But this is really taking too much away from Cards of players that legitimately paid their dues & rightfully earned their acclaim. I'm staring to see many players filling most of their line-ups with Future Stars within Events. It's annoying having someone use a card of someone I never even heard of & even less seen to go yard on me with a moonshot. If it was Trout, Acuna, Delgado or Cruz going yard on me with a moonshot, then that is acceptable & believable because it is Trout, Acuna, Delgado or Cruz that hit that moonshot. But to see someone I never even heard of before who may mostly not amount to anything in the MLB because he either could'nt cut it as a big leaguer or was always becoming injured. This is making a comic book mockery of the game itself & to players who honestly have had a great productive career.
I think SDS juices them up based on their potential ratings from what scouts say. I can understand that aspect for "future stars". Or else they'll be just as good as a rookie card in this game. I wonder what Harper, Kris Bryant, Chipper Jones, Josh Hamilton, etc. card would have looked like.
On a side note, I think SDS needs to make a Kerry Woods 20K game milestone card. One of the best pitching performances ever.

What are your thoughts on these three cards? Just completed the AL and I was wondering how “useable” they are. Currently have Machado at 3rd, Franco at 2nd and Rizzo at first. Hit around .330 with both Franco and Machado with decent power #s. Rizzo absolutely rakes for me hitting around .430 with like 25 hrs in 125 or so abs. Just wondering if it’s worth it to replace those starters with these three cards. All those #s are online, not offline.
Thomas as been better for me this year than last. Feels like he doesn't have that long slow swing. Glaus has good glove & arm with a lot of power. Doesn't make as much solid contact because of his vision, but I do like his swing though. Young is solid. Not a lot of pop, but will slap it around for you because of his vision. Glove is good, Arm is decent.

Or how many times he threw over (which was 0). It has to do with Rollin’s stealing ability is as good as Nelson Cruz in this game. SDS did not program base stealing correctly this year. The only time I’ll run is when the base runner has high speed/stealing ability against a weak arm. Typically 75 & lower. So throwing over doesn't impact a runner getting a jump? And if you think Rollins ability to steal is the same as LS Nelson Cruz, you are playing a different game than I am playing. I know a lot of people have issues with stealing this year, but I disagree that they got it wrong this year. One of the few things they have gotten correct or very close to correct. The video game is based on the game of baseball and the modern game does not have a ton of attempted steals and the success rate is even less than that. My simple point is that you think you should be able to run with Rollins with 100 percent success against certain catchers and I just don't think that is the way the game is designed or the real game is played. I almost went yard with Jared Weaver this morning and he has terrible power/contact attributes, but pitchers do go yard at times. You think Rollins was thinking about a throw over? No, it’s a software system, not a human being. The AI is not that good yet. So you agree Rollins should have a quicker break to the bag than Cruz? Because Rollins has a 99 and Cruz probably has a 0. But yet, they somehow break for the bag at the same time…When the pitcher releases the ball. Rollins in real life would have left as soon as the pitcher lifted his leg. SDS screwed up stealing this year just like they screwed up bunting a few years ago. Anyone could lay down perfect bunts. Once I get home, I’m going to check other people’s online stats about steal %. Because I haven’t checked that part out yet. I know it seems like I am arguing and I guess to a degree I am. I really am just trying to provide a different perspective. My experience for me when I am pitching is that throwing over does help me limit the ability of the opposing player to run. I don't know if that is built into the code that it slows the jump or it just limits/prevents the opponent from hitting the bumper to get a jump. I just know I have a way better result of throwing out runners when I pick over. l also know that the quicker the button is pressed as the catcher to bring up the throwing interface, the better my result is at throwing people out. If someone has already been running on me and especially if they have already ran with that player, I am much more prepared to mash the button and get the interface on the screen. In all honesty from what you have described, I would expect you to have a really good chance of taking that bag...however, I still don't think that should be a given. That is the reason I do like the way steals are working this year. I can take bags this year, but I really have to limit when I run. It is much more realistic to me and I much prefer that.

I just looked up online stats from some teams in RS for shits and giggles. And It seems like hardly anybody has a good % on stealing this year. I'm 8-15 with only guys who have high 90's speed/stealing. I really think SDS nerfed the stealing this year and it's not just me.
I think they've nerfed the base running speed this year.
If it was a fastball or side stepping to the plate, I wouldn’t complain at all. But because it being a slow delivery, 84mph slider, Garver’s arm, and Rollins unrealistic jump, I’ll complain every time.
My only gripe is the jump these 99 stealing ability guys are getting. I’ve seen it against lofton, Pierre, Turner, and now Rollins.
