Cliff Lee just throw a great game that ended in 68 pitches, insane
Ofc they dropped the finest Clemente, so I'm thinking they'll prob drop another Frank (not really anything hard to think about ofc) and I need him on my team rn
@jonblaze2424_PSN said in Has anyone used or faced that 99 Syndergaard?:
Have always had mixed feelings about his cards. Guy was always a hidden gem, atleast for me, and i think last year or the year before they tweaked his motion and seems far more hittable. Debating if i want to drop the 100k on him…..any feedback?
Just did, his slider looks pretty quick but I think (don't remember too precisely) I did hit him, I'm not a bad nor good hitter but I feel like for most ppl he would be fairly hittable, + I think his h/9 aren't that high

Watch a video on how to flip cards and do that (if you have the time) it should make you about 15-30k every 20 min (or that's what it made me when I flipped, you can do even more)
It's not a bad team tho, definitely usable

@halfbutt_PSN said in Anyone ever do this by accident?:
You grind to get your next LOTF AL east pack and then accidentally pick a different card instead of the Hank Aaron you THOUGHT you were picking?
Yeah, I just did that. Derp. Anyone want to buy André Dawson?
It happened to me once but with another type of choice pack, I don't remember now
@MRAD2010_XBL said in Finest Jim Edmonds:
I got him today and tried him out and all I have to say is he’s cracked. 125 power vs both sides and a smooth swing kinda like Cano. If u don’t have him you should get him. Highly recommend. Have a few home runs with him already. The first at bat I hit one that still hasn’t landed.
I stunk with him lmao, I'm just keeping headliners for the sake of collections, if there's more
@BIG_PAPIx34_PSN said in Retro Finest Cueto:
How does he play on All-Star? Can a decent hitter pick up his pitches?
Just hit the 100pts in the BR Program and wondering if I should keep/sell my pick and whom I should pick.
I'd choose depending on what type of pitchers you do better with really, cause personally I'm really big on Mussina-type pitchers where I can locate better and all that stuff, but if you do better with more high-velo guys with some decieving pitches I would just take my 200k. Either way if you wanna try him that's always a possibility obv no need to sell right away (at least not until near the end of the br program when everybody's doing it)
@Chrono_Omega_PSN said in Retro Finest Cueto:
All star difficulty doesn’t matter because every game is a [censored] shoot. Hall of fame is what you want to look at.
I mean if he's asking for All-Star that's what matters to him bruh

Easy answer. Perfect contact does not equal perfect results. It doesn't on the field, and it doesn't in the game. It never has and never will. Way too many people are hung up on this. They want arcade results instead of baseball results.
I mean we want "arcade" results because we are playing a video game? If you have a perfect input on a video game you should get a perfect or at least decent result every time, taking into account how much harder it is to have a perfect input in comparison to the other types of input, it obviously is true that baseball doesn't work that way, but it doesn't mean the game has to work exactly like real life
This game is by no means perfect, and you might even be able to say it's not good, but I don't think anyone understands how much less fun this game would be if it was just PCI on ball simulator. You want all your pitchers having 7.00+ ERAs and your hitters all hitting 600, your team scoring 30 runs a game? That's what it will be if we get arcade results.
Idk how ya'll come to these conclusions, I don't want whatever tf you said, what I'm saying is, if I get perfect input I should be rewarded more than the guy who's getting late hits all the time. As an example: Last night I was playing some dude and he hit a fastball through a hole to right side with good timing, which is obv ok, then hit an inside snk late timing double to score a run, he had like 3 or 4 more late hits that led to runs. I had 3 perfects and no hits to show for them, so you're telling me this guy was deservingly beating me because I'm asking for "arcade results"?

I know ‘18 program grinds were awful, and that game was homerun or nothing, but still…
‘22 has to be the most frustrating gameplay, right?
It’s not that perfects don’t go for XBHs enough, although that is a problem. But why do so many near perfects result in absolute dog doodoo? An eyelash from center PCI; an eyelash from perfect timing—can of corn. Easy grounder. And if you’re lucky enough to have that swing be a line drive, that left fielder with a 60 fielding attribute will run it down with ease.
Acquiring cards for the sake of accomplishing missions is fun. Actually playing the game is not.
Sometimes just posting about my frustration and commiserating with the community makes me feel better.
Yeah, I feel you, last night I hit a center pci, early side of good timing lineout with Frank against a lefty (125 power lol)
@KOTANK1334_PSN said in Jorge Posada hits nada:
Is anyone else struggling with the LOTF Posada ? I think I'm a robust 2-42 with him in H2H.. Putting the ball in play but it always seems to be weak or right at someone.
I did poorly with him too so I sold him and put my cap back out there
@SaveFarris_PSN said in Best budget SS?:
Use that 20k to keep flipping your way to Rollins.
Bruh really said 20k to 13 million (which is obviously possible, not directly cause of the stub limit but possible in the end) but a new player I doubt is thinking about collections lmao (ik it was a joke but I like to sometimes take these things seriously and think how I'd go about them)
@mubby_33_PSN said in Hear me out...Cano at 1B:
George Brett says hello. I would also play Lou over Cano. I like Frank's swing but understand that some do not. But with all the other options no way Cano plays 1st.
I mean I got Brett at 3B so not really an option on 1b to me, I wanted to try Finley last night so I had to rearrange my team and didn't wanna bench Cano so I found 1B to be a sufficient solution
He's still got way better defense than Frank, David Ortiz and many others who play 1B and he hits so freaking well, I do better against lefties with him than Frank Thomas unironically

Hey all! I’m late to the game this year. Starting from scratch in September. Who do you recommend for budget Shortstops? I only have around 20k stubs from flipping and I have lots of team needs so am thinking maybe the AS Dansby Swanson? Any other suggestions?
Doesn’t need to be total meta, but just usable for a while.
Thanks!
Maybe All Star Dansby? Idk how much he is rn tho and idrk about other budget options, but I mean many ppl are still using their created player idk

Unbelievable
I'm not touching a conquest map ever again for this and because they're just tedious lol
I enter a game and this mf brings P5 Nolan, okay I'll deal with that somehow. At polo grounds, in the rain, starts fking bunting and stealing every chance he gets and to top it all off his team's name is "Uranus Drillers". Yeah bro you are indeed a funny individual
