In December 2020 I was taken to the hospital with liver failure and respitory failure. I had my transplant on Christmas Eve and came out of my induced coma a day after Christmas. They lost me twice during the surgery. After the surgery I had a lot of difficulties. I had very little strength. I had tubes in my throat and other places, I had to learn to walk again. I didn't actually get out of John Hopkins Hospital until the end of February. That was 3 long, hard months during Covid protocol with no guests or family, I was depressed and hurting. When I finally got home in begining of March I had to rehabilitate at home and get my strength back. Not long after getting home this game was released. With not being able to work and get out of the house a lot this game was a blessing, Ive wanted to play the show for a long time but I'm an Xbox player so this was our first year playing it. I grew up playing baseball at a somewhat high level. I made all state as a kid and played college ball. I never was good enough to make the pros and I realized that in college, I might've been able to play minor league like a few of my friends but I focused on life outside of baseball. Back to this game though. It really helped me ease my mind from all the stress I had been going through. It also helped me get my hand eye coordination and memory a bit sharper than it was, I know a lot of people are frustrated with this game but honestly I can't complain. This game has been a blessing for me. On a brighter note, I've come a long way, I'm back to walking like normal and feeling mostly healthy. So Im thankful to have a game I actually enjoy and can relax and play. Finding things you enjoy in life are important. Not everything in life is rainbows and butterflies. "Life is like a finger pointing towards wthe sky, if you concentrate on the finger you'll miss the sky's heavenly glory" - Bruce Lee.

I just want to say Happy holidays to everyone and I hope 2022 will bless you with a good flow to your life. Wishing you and your families good health and happiness.
Everytime I try to do today's daily moment it's says I must have 8 Relief pitcher. Please adjust lineup. Is anyone else having this problem?
I personally think Byron Buxton was the best POTM this year. Schwarber and Simien we’re good too but they’ve been replaced in my lineup. Jackie is way better than Simien. Schwarber was a great hitter but all star J.T. Realmuto is so good. He throws out everyone and has incredible speed for a catcher. Not to mention I have 39 home runs with JT already.
What’s your thoughts? Is Byron still in your lineup? What about the other POTM cards?
I met Brooks Robinson numerous times when I bartended in Baltimore, I was kinda star struck when I met him TBH. I asked him quietly if he was Brooks Robinson because I didn't want people to crowd him while he was enjoying his lunch. This man was the nicest, most humble person Ive ever met in my life, He would talk about the new players and say how good they were. Saying he could never play in today's game and never Pat himself on the back. Meanwhile he's one of the greatest Third baseman to ever Grace the field. I have so much respect for this man. What a guy,
This new card art style is the best Ive ever seen, The design and color scheme is perfect.
Dee Gorgon hitting a lead off home run in Fernandez tribute to his passing. It was his first home run of the year and he said after it was a sign of Fernandez watching over him.
Also I know this has nothing to do with Diamond Dynasty but we’re all baseball fans here, right? Also Dee Gordon is awesome in the game too.
I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope 2022 brings you good health, happiness and and prosperity.
I’m not interested in this Votto card one bit so I guess I’ll be selling those Topps Now cards and the 42 series card too. I’m always looking forward to a POTM card but when you have 25 speed and average defense it’s basically a home run or nothing. You might get lucky and have a ball ricochet of the wall and get a double or triple but this card isn’t even worth it in my opinion. I’m sure somebody will absolutely love this card but I don’t see how anyone could take him over the other beastly first baseman cards.
Is this card a huge L or am I bugging?

I tried to run an all non-circumcised team.
Let me guess? They didn't make the cut?

They said “Grind 99” for Friday’s Griifey, which you can’t do (at least not yet) when the program drops.
Also, Griffey was never Player of the Month in any August. Some who were:
Will Clark
Pudge
Vlad Sr
Frank
Edgar
Palmer
Dale Murphy
Justice
Sheffield
GwynnVlad Sr or Tony Gwynn please and thanks.
Crazy stat Gwynn over .350 seven times. 🤯
That is definitely crazy. Wanna hear another crazy stat? Nobody has hit over .350 in a full season (not counting the 60 game 2020) since Josh Hamilton in 2010. Juan Soto was 11 years old.
That’s awesome. Here’s another Gwynn stat. Gwynn faced 18 Hall of Fame pitchers for a total of 541 plate appearances. That’s essentially a full season’s worth of plate appearances exclusively against Hall of Famers. Gwynn batted .331/.371/.426.

This is the position that I’m not really settled with. I’ve had Gunnar Henderson there for a while, honus Wagner, peguero at times. JP Crawford was there for a long time.
Currently using all star Tim Andersen. But he doesn’t “feel right” there on my squad.
Definitely an unsettled position for me.
I actually really like that Gunner card. I looked at my stats and it says a home run every 5 at bats. I’m an Orioles fan too so I’m a bit biased on liking him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Prime Troy Polamalu.
Lol they have to do his hair justice if they do.
I know a lot of people want Ron Santo but I really would much rather have a juiced Ryan Sandburg,Mark Grace or Ernie Bamks for the Cubs. I don’t think they have the rights for Mark Grace and Ernie already has a decent card
As for the reds I’d love a good Barry Larkin,Joe Morgan or Rob Dibble card.
If you’re talking primary SS I’ll say
1.Noveli Marte
2.Dansby Swanson
3.Xander Bogaerts
4.Topps now Carlos Correa (he’s throw out guys from the outfield grass)
5.Ella De La Cruz
Tim Anderson and most of the future stars guys are really solid too. Especially Bryson Stott
Also I think 99 Anthony Volpe future star that comes out tomorrow could potentially be a top 3 SS

it is always Robinson, I do not have him yet.
I was so excited for that card but I tried him out and he swings a noodle this year. Too many better options imo.

Interesting how SDS is keeping the FOD program close to the vest. There hasn't been any mention of bosses, how many, who etc. Usually by the day before we know who the bosses are. Anybody have any guesses?
It’s really hard to say because I think the cards last year had nothing to do with either team except Tim Anderson after he got player of the game.
@lckdb_xbl said in James Outman Swing:
It looked to me like Rogers Hornsby when I used him. That’s the swing I have for my CAP.
I think it is Hornsby. At first I was thinking Is it Steve Finley? No it’s Hornsby. Great swing. Also I agree with James Outman being pretty awesome for the moments. He’s pretty fast too. The only issue I could see is his stats are a little low but stats don’t always make the player: I’m going to throw in my lineup for a couple days and see how he does.

If you’re talking primary second baseman I’ll say
- Craig Biggio
2.Chase Utley- Vidal Brujan
4.Andres Jiminez
5.Jose AltuveI almost put Joe Morgan over Altuve but Altuve has legit power.
Also Jackie will most likely be #1 as soon as I get him but Biggio is a beast for real.
Is Joe Morgan as good at getting on base as he was last year?
Yeah. Joe Morgan is really solid. He doesn’t have the pop like he did last year but I have noticed he comes up with clutch hits all the time. I played a mini season and he hit 3 walk off home runs in the same season. I probably should’ve put him in place of Vidal Brujan. Thinking on it now he probably is better.
