Best budget SS?

Hey all! I’m late to the game this year. Starting from scratch in September. Who do you recommend for budget Shortstops? I only have around 20k stubs from flipping and I have lots of team needs so am thinking maybe the AS Dansby Swanson? Any other suggestions?
Doesn’t need to be total meta, but just usable for a while.

Maybe All Star Dansby? Idk how much he is rn tho and idrk about other budget options, but I mean many ppl are still using their created player idk

I used him at second, sometimes still do. Marte’s swing has always been good. Elly De La Cruz has better speed and defense though. I actually just put him in to do some Reds missions we had to do fo something, and have had him at SS or 2nd since.

I third De La Cruz. He's one that I just can't get out of my lineup. My favorite card of the year. He's a steal at 10k.

Basement budget is gold Brett although maybe not now with every flashback/legend gold being crazy high. But I played him at short at the beginning and the dude is just an on base machine bat him second behind a speed guy and you can easily have 1st and 3rd with no outs for 3,4,5

Bruh really said 20k to 13 million
(which is obviously possible, not directly cause of the stub limit but possible in the end) but a new player I doubt is thinking about collections lmao (ik it was a joke but I like to sometimes take these things seriously and think how I'd go about them) -

MA Swanson is awesome, also Owen Miller and Drury both from MA(one april the other june) both were very good. bregman nootbar and arozarena from the new one are real good too.

Monthly awards Dansby is good but his all star card is better imo. Is he better than Dela Cruz not so sure. I think Cruz is insane

I personally like the Noelvi cards this year amd that card has a ton of power, he's a great option for a all time Mariner build. Also if your looking for great Mariner cards try the monthly programs (if you can) mariners included in them so far have been
