I really just want PCI to mean something especially on HOF it’s hard enough to make consistent good contact. Especially when you are facing Cliff Lee/Gavine/Burns... etc every single game. It’s really annoying when you’re in a pitchers duel and put a good timed swing with the ball in the pci but not dead center and its the same result as a early/late swing with the ball out of the PCI.

I haven't played online in years. I enjoy playing offline but I remember when getting a diamond was a huge grind lol

I also wish they focused on this to keep the skill gap as opposed to just ramping up pitch speeds.
Proper PCI placement is something that can be improved more so than dealing with the ridiculous outlier, I’d imagine for most. When “buy a monitor” becomes the most common suggestion for the majority to simply play the game on all-star thats garbage game design. -
Strongly disagree. I think this is the BEST MLBTS we have had since 17. Contact swing and PPP needs a tweak, but beyond that its been great gameplay.

I've still ever seen a p/p pop up or anyone ever providing a video of such occurrence, so if you are lying or over exaggerating about that, it's hard to take anything else seriously
I haven't seen that, but plenty of PP fouls this year. I only had PP flyballs with 100+ power dying at the warning track last year.
This year, nearly all PP flyballs I hit are homeruns, even with 70-80 power hitters.

If they dont fix contact swing in the next 2 weeks I am done with this game for the year. Everyday I go into RS and its just a bunch of [censored] hats using contact swing to foul off everything until they get a HR.

One universal pitch speed would be nice. I don’t care how fast it is. Different pci size would go with different difficulty levels.

18 was the worst ever for online play, it is known khalessi. 19 and 20 were better but many players feel the games are “scripted” with comeback logic. This has been denied by the devs yet brand new players come on here saying the same thing about a scripted feeling that people said in 2019.
Whether it’s scripted or not, this game plays pretty much like 20, except with more precise pitch control and enormous pci coverage.

I’ve been really disappointed so far with cliff lee. I’ve had no problem hitting him when I’ve played against him and hit hard when pitching him. But I agree with you the inconsistent PCI results is very frustrating - especially on HOF/Legend

It’s an addicting game for sure but it’s a baddddd baseball game. They just kinda gave up trying to make it a realistic baseball simulation.

Genuine question here: how do you really know if they’re using it? Is it from gauging the PCI size from the feedback?

I’ve had the most success against Lee and Burnes honestly usually put up 3-4 runs on both of them but just was naming some of the dominate guys. I guess Grochett, Valenzuela, Tanana would be the other guys. I think they need to really rework hitting next year. Tell us exactly how the PCI works and make it consistent. Consistency is all I ask for getting good swing timing with a ball well located in the PCI and having it be hit the same as it does sometimes when the ball isn’t even in the PCI is exhausting. Especially on higher difficulties sucks when you don’t get rewarded when these games are already low scoring for the most part. I hit a high sinker down the middle yesterday with Just early timing and dead center of my PCI and somehow pulled the ball foul down the line should have been a 2 RBI basehit it doesn’t make since how it went foul.

It obviously has to do with having to pump out content every week to please the gaming mob. Have to drop something brighter and shinier every week out of the same [censored] game haha.

get your [censored] together SDSHonestly though man if you can get into the World Series level and adjust to the pitch speeds it is actually really enjoyable. It is really a chess match and you can feel if a pitcher is cruising and when the wheels fall off for them.
It is definitely not easy though and the game is absolute poo on the lower difficulties.
