I find it hard to enjoy online play as well. But I chalk it up to a me problem and try to get better.

You’re getting more and more out of control with these super pitchers every year. Corbin Burnes couldn’t touch 98 on his best day, yet he’s throwing a 98 mph cutter with a 82 mph slider. It’s laughable. 102 looks like 202 with the boosted pitch speed settings. Game isn’t even enjoyable anymore unless it’s your pro streamer who plays 24/7. Oh and now you have hackers on your servers using boosting software to make perfect perfect swings and pitch release now. So there’s that too.
get your [censored] together SDSI’ll agree that ‘17 was the best iteration of The Show. It was the year I made WS 5 times and went 12-0. But I agree with the other gentleman, my issue with the game now is more of a “me problem” than anything else. The game is good! You really gotta practice and put time in to be elite (at least I do). I simply don’t wanna put that much practice in. I made it to 842 the other night. That’s about as high as I’ll get. Presentation is great! The content is great (even though I think there’s so much more they could do).

I’ve had it happen before with guys like nick madrigal, other than that it’s rare for a P/P pop up

A couple of years ago there was no perfect/perfect. Just good/good that you would get pop ups and no home runs on. So SDS introduced perfect/perfect as well as good/good. Perfect/perfect was supposed to be at the very least a base hit. But they just pulled the classic bait and switch. Same [censored] they just call it something different. SDS are truly disgusting as far as a gaming company goes. They just lie to cover up thier inability to properly code a baseball game. More poeple need to get up in there [censored] constantly...like to the point of harassment...but not quite.

The biggest problem is that pitches move differently on HOF then on allstar. But on legend it’s worse. My first legend game I got no hit because the pitches had insane movement. But yes burnes is this years kluber except he throws harder. His sinker is 98 and his cutter is 95

At no point was perfect/perfect ever supposed to at least always be a hit. They were very clear with that from the beginning. There are so many legitimate things to point to in criticizing SDS, but it seems most people want to either stretch the truth or straight up lie because I guess if they don't they feel their point isn't valid enough?

It’s really annoying when you’re in a pitchers duel and put a good timed swing with the ball in the pci but not dead center and its the same result as a early/late swing with the ball out of the PCI.

I also wish they focused on this to keep the skill gap as opposed to just ramping up pitch speeds.
Proper PCI placement is something that can be improved more so than dealing with the ridiculous outlier, I’d imagine for most. When “buy a monitor” becomes the most common suggestion for the majority to simply play the game on all-star thats garbage game design.
