SDS has a habit of pissing in the faces of thier player base…this patch is just another example of them doing exactly that. A week ago I posted that SDS doesn’t have the talent to fix this game. Today they proved me right.

And the list goes on. Really SDS? And this [censored] is still going on 2 months into the game cycle!!
You have broken pitching so badly that people have to bunt all game to get on base. People are contact swinging constantly because they can’t hit with the broken hitting.
It would be laughable if it wasn’t so [censored] pathetic!!
Fix your [censored]!!
Just about half way through the season and you mooks still haven’t got this game to where it should be…without need of major gameplay patches. What a joke!!

Dude get over it.. Its a game.. Go learn to make a better one or quit complaining.
You are WRONG, Boi. We pay SDS to make the game. If they can’t do it properly then the consumer should be able to get their money back if they are not satisfied. That is how the real world works!!

Nope, Hitting and pitch timing is on point in this year's game. With testing the feedback window, even before it even goes up I can tell if I'm early or just early or good and I'm on Legend at pitch speeds at 10. If you feel the timing is off from looking at the feedback you might have what I call "privileged casual noob syndrome", where your "skills" don't match up with the results you're seeing so you look for some kind of blame...so obviously you blame the game's mechanics and not user skill. Don't worry "privileged casual noob syndrome" is quite common in today's instant gratification world but there is a cure.........practice and get gut! Or maybe stop playing The Show on a TV and get yourself a decent monitor
Yup then he can be a gross stinking sweatie like you?
A couple of years ago there was no perfect/perfect. Just good/good that you would get pop ups and no home runs on. So SDS introduced perfect/perfect as well as good/good. Perfect/perfect was supposed to be at the very least a base hit. But they just pulled the classic bait and switch. Same [censored] they just call it something different. SDS are truly disgusting as far as a gaming company goes. They just lie to cover up thier inability to properly code a baseball game. More poeple need to get up in there [censored] constantly...like to the point of harassment...but not quite.
Just another [censored] patch that makes pinpoint pitching more effected by RNG…based on user input my [censored]. Nerfed exit velocity speeds on all hitting. Big fail!! Trying to nerf contact hitting they nerf hitting over all. The worst show in 10 effing years. SDS =full and total incompetence.

It’s way better. I only threw a handful of “perfects” the entire game. I wasn’t cheesed to death by contact swing, and if you don’t know how to pitch sequence, you’re gonna get touched up. This is the way it should be.
I'm referring to the fact that last year the game was horrible due to pitching being so random. Good releases could go down the middle. And now they fixed that issue, and yes pinpoint was very accurate. But if you can hit, you can hit those pitches on the black too. Has nothing to do with sequencing and everything to do with the ability to hit. And now they go I'm reverse to make it more random, because the average hitters cried hard. Again.
How is pitching more random? They just tightened up the thresholds to get perfect or good input. It didn’t increase the perfect radius from what I can see so far. That’s not adding randomness but rather adding skill imo
Just play man you'll see what I mean. A bit off makes pitches sail and go down the middle, very much like last year and even the year before to a certain extent. Missing a perfect is now punished heavier and having a "good" release doesn't mean anything, it can be a meatball if the game decides to do so. Again, just play a few games and you'll see.
I’ve played a few event games but I think I got a perfect release on every pitch so far. Tbh what you’re describing I kind of like. It’s always been so easy to get perfects that I think it should be punishing when you don’t but I’ll wait to play some more outside of the event before forming an opinion I guess. It sounds like a win for ranked games though tbh
Did you l happen to use analogue pitching last year? Sometimes pitches would just randomly go down the middle regardless of input. I hope that’s not what’s happening with pin point now. I also think something happened to timing windows on those pitches as well because those “hangers” almost always ended up being a bomb.
That is exactly what is happening with pin point now. These morons just don’t have anything else in thier bag of tricks.
The check swing this year is totally broken. This is just one of the many poorly coded parts of the game. Cyberpunk2021 should be the name of this game. Such a long list of bugs can’t even keep up with it but check swings are totally ruining the game.
These mid schooler quality ballparks should not be allowed in ranked seasons. Terrible batters eyes, the designs on the grass is literally sickening, the lag is absolutely insane. I put this poorly thought out [censored] squarely in SDS thin weak shoulders. DO NOT ALLOW CUSTOM BALLPARKS IN RANKED!!

Logic check. So if SDS coded a game that was based on consistency and quality that would be bad because baseball is an imperfect game. Right!! Get your head out of your [censored]!!

SDS will also never make the player attributes not matter. They make most of their money selling stubs in DD so that you will want to buy players who perform better than what you already have all year long. If user input was 95% of what matters a person would never have to upgrade their players in DD. Competitive mode was made for DD primarily so even playing franchise the player attributes will matter at least as much as user input.. Good video skills though, and I would also be pissed, but I feel I understand why sometimes these things are going to happen.
Disagree here too.
A 99 rated pitcher can throw a fastball 103 MPH, a 59 rated pitcher can only throw 85MPH - that's the difference. Both should pitch in their own PAR area, the 99 probably has a smaller PAR area. You can disagree all you like, but you are the one who will remain disappointed in the game forever. I am going to enjoy it with all its flaws because its baseball, and baseball games are inherently flawed and unpredictable. Watch one some time. It is quite amazing how off their spot RL pitchers truly are almost every pitch. What makes a pitcher good is his "stuff". How his fastball moves or his sinker drops. They are no were near as perfect with location as you can be in this game.
That is so weak!! Baseball is an imperfect game, therefor, SDS developers can code a steaming pile of [censored] and that means it’s a good offering because baseball isn’t a perfect game. You have fanbois syndrome really bad…get that [censored] checked.
SDS has done a horrible job this year. Period.
So yeah. Told you SDS didn’t have the skill to fix this game and they don’t!! They screwed it up even worse with thier amateur hour patch. What a joke.

First things first …fire all employees that worked on the show 21. Free game for all that bought the show 21.
Realistic hitting
Cards that play to thier stats.
Get rid of RNG in the game
Hopefully an earthquake takes thier headquarters down and causes all employees to be replaced
This is SDS fixing things. They just nerfed your whole [censored] teams hitters. Buy good cards for hitting an SDS nerfs them all. That’s [censored] criminal is what it is. Goddamn thieves!!
SDS does this every year they have never gotten a game of thier s working properly until about 3/4 of the way through the season. Diseased chimps could do a better job than what SDS employs.
That’s because their effing contact swing nerf nerfed all exit velocities. SDS is the model of incompetence. They all need to be fired.
