The second to last moment “Tally 7 bases” is supposed to be his first 4 hit game. Except it keeps only giving me 3 at bats... and he’s swinging a pool noodle can barely hit the gaps with perfect/perfects. GG SDS.

SDS didn’t put a 99 overall unhittable pitcher in the game available for free at launch! The last two years with Kershaw and Kluber were so annoying facing those two every single game. Happy SDS did away with that this year at least so far...
Let’s break this down since this seems to be a reoccurring theme that people don’t seem to understand. 1:50 does not mean for every 50 packs you are guaranteed 1 diamond card. 1:15 does not mean you are guaranteed a diamond in BIAH.
1:50 is a 2% chance for every individual pack you open. Translation = No bueno.
1:15 I’ll round up and be generous and say you have a 7% chance to pull a diamond in every BIAH pack.
Hope this helps some people on here with their pack addiction. Don’t buy packs. You get plenty of free packs playing this game. If you feel the need to buy packs just Venmo me bc more times than not you’re throwing away your money.
I find the only time I struggle in moments is when I’m being impatient bc they can get annoying that’s why I do them in small doses. If I’m patient at the plate I usually beat all of them first try.
This might be the dumbest post I’ve ever come across on this forum.
I see a lot of posts about how there are too many home runs and I’ve seen some crazy scores posted on twitter and what not. I don’t want them to touch hitting bc then we end up with a game like last year all over again.
I think right now the real issue lies in pitching and not just the pitch speeds although maybe they could use a slight boost but I’m not on HOF yet so I want to see how the game plays in RS up there. I think the real problem is control. It seems like every time I miss a spot the ball goes right down the middle. I understand you aren’t going to hit your spot all the time but leaving pitches down the middle every time I miss is what I think is leading to these insane scores. I think they need start with a tweak to control and see what happens from there. There’s also not a ton of dominate pitchers in the game yet.
Let’s not start yelling about everything so they patch the game to [censored]. Right now hitting feels good and rewarding let’s not ruin that.
It’s bc hitting is just random
right now PCI placement means nothing bc everything inside the PCI gets labeled as “ Okay” contact and the timing is all whacked out of sorts.
Was excited for this event but just did my first entry and realized it’s 6 inning games and everyone out of the bullpens are commons. This is going to be an absolute sh*t show and they expect us to grind 50-75 wins out of this??
I hate that team affinities are essentially locked behind Showdowns and MTO as the most efficient ways to grind through team affinities. I’m not even bad at Showdowns I’ve probably only failed a handful of times but just the fact that I’m going to fall behind on 75% of teams because I don’t want to spend all my gameplay time doing showdowns is somewhat annoying.
The stat missions should be repeatable or have progressions or there should just simply be more of them. I feel like online players get punished in the team affinities this year.

This is the only questionable TA3 card. Probably going to be one of the best pitchers in the game from here on out idk why they didn’t give Taijuan Walker the Mets TA 3 and give him like a 97-98. Degroms live series was good enough now that he has outlier and could be paralleled to a 99. Feel like it’s too early to give out an OP Degrom this early. From this point on he will be the XP reward Kershaw and Kluber from the last two years.

Haven’t been paying attention much bc I just hopped on for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday but I’ve seen multiple ppl say there’s a collection coming on 7-15 (tomorrow) idk if it’s speculation or not.
Yup he’s starting in RF for me now over Bichette until we get some of the big name guys

I don't mind them releasing great free cards, but this was undoubtedly done too early. This feels like the Finest series cards from 19, literally handing out God level cards for all the great/likable/marketable players on each team. But that was done at like the 10th or 11th inning program that year. Towards the end of the cycle
Content this good should've came at around the 6th-7th inning at the earliest. Everything that came before this feels boring or obsolete now. And what comes after this? Is every single new card supposed to be a 5 tool stud? Idk, SDS always delivers on the content but I feel they took it too far with TA3 & these HRD cards. The HRD cards should all have worse contact across the board.
And 125 ratings shouldn't be getting handed out like candy. All future content is going to require hitting stats like this for people to get excited. But when that happens it's just like "well I already have cards that hit like this". Just makes things feel a little redundant. And makes the anticipation for future content less exciting. Which shouldn't be happing this early in the year
This is the best comment in the thread. That’s what I thought when I saw these cards is that they just released finest cards in the middle of July. All new content will have to be a 98-99 overall now to compete with these TA 3 cards. I think it was just done wayyy too early. Also that 99 Degrom is going to be an annoyance in RS from here on out. Should have given Taijuan Walker a 97 for the Mets. Degroms live series was good enough with the addition of outlier to it.

So we have to collect all but two for Ohtani?
Thank god. Because I do not want to see that Ohtani card every game. His live series is hard enough to hit with the speed differentials lol
My batting avg is like .258 with Thome but I attribute that to facing so many lefties all the time. Whenever I face righties I hit at least 1 homerun in a game with him.

It's most likely your analog if you are getting analog drift. It also could be that your swinging before your PCI reaches its final destination. So say you are moving your PCI to where the ball is going but you are pressing x to swing simultaneously you could be swinging before your PCI has moved to the location you wanted to bring it to. I do it all the time.
I know drift. I just replaced a PS5 controller that had drift...on ALL games.
Can't say I'm not hitting "X" while moving my swing. But, the problem with that theory is..I'm moving the controller straight up...why would it show my final position as up right?
But, I'm not going to call someone wrong that's trying to help. Will pay really close attention and make sure that isn't what's going on, but I'm pretty sure it's not.
You’d be surprised. The PCI is pretty sensitive so the slightest movement right while bringing it up on top of swinging before the PCI is where it’s intended to be would definitely cause it. It’s something that happens to me and I’ve been trying to be more conscious of it. But catching up to 102 heaters is tough while also whacking your PCI to the correct location.

most likely someone really good that just crushes his opponent into quitting after the first inning especially on all-star I'd imagine a lot of the top players would have no problem putting up 5-8 runs on most event opponents pretty easily.
25 times? Lol nope
Yea most likely not, but SDS won't do anything about it so really we're all just yelling at the sky. They still won't fix people glitching their way to the inning bosses in 1-2 hours which is more game breaking then someone getting event wins.
