Why do some players insist on trash talking and showboating by replaying their homeruns. I let my 7 y/o play ranked season on my account. He lost a couple of games and thats fine... its kind of a good life lesson to lose once in a while. He was just happy to be playing. The other guy started trash talking him, telling him he's trash, give up on life, etc. He's just a little kid and frankly sports games are pretty family friendly. Maybe I'm being a little over protective but there is such a thing as a.sore winner
I would say more PCI is the issue. How can I hit a slider early on the the outside of my PCI and get a no doubt home run but a fast ball in the top 3rd perfect timing with tbe same batter is a lazy fly ball?

With my ps4 I saved everything to an external hard drive. I know it can be risky if the drive crashes but it saves me a tonne of room
Bonds deserves to be in the HOF, never tested positive for PEDs. If being a [censored] made you ineligible then 1/2 the players wouldn't be there
So I haven't been doing as bad as I thought... until today. Won 5 games out of 3 then I don't know what happened... timing is way off on off speed. Way behind on every fastball. Can't even buy a win in my last 16 games
400 ft down the line, 450 to centre, and 40 foot high walls

I can't catch up with a 95mph fastball but way in front of a 94mph cutter. Makes perfect sense to me
Other than playing against the computer, is there a way to do practice mode with my own DD team?

I suggest if you are going to let your kids play online you turn off messages. You can do that.
That’s what I do if I let my kids play.
Today is the first time it happened, I've turned them off

In competition you can still be respectful. That's why it's called sportsmanship
They need to do better. Come in with a 99 closer when up 2-0. Get to 2 outs. Walk with pitches no where near pci, throwing error, walk with pitches nowhere near pci, grand slam with pitch nowhere near pci. Game over loss
Besides that, as much as I do enjoy playing and get frustrated as well... its just a game
You get matched with everyone on the MLB 20 network. I've played people from the UK, China, South America, etc. I've had people from Boston, Toronto, California, with horrible lag. I've even had my internet hiccup on me and disconnected. Depends on the provider and time of day

Not sure if you are serious or being sarcastic, but the three I mentioned seem to get to the ball quicker than others. I think Rollins is pretty good also. But I am far from any authority on it. I would like to see some others' input on this.

I've had similar experience. In the last event, and current, I've been up in the top of the last inning by 1 or 2. Closer in. Pass ball, error, home run, I lose. Lol

I’m not kidding. After Freddie Freeman botches a bloop right at him, and your pitcher then hangs a slider which gets clobbered, you can probably get out of the inning by throwing down the middle.
You’re likely to miss your spots in an effective way. Just change pitches like you normally would but throw right down the middle and see where your pitch actually goes. It’s an interesting experiment.
Just played an event game with maddux on the bump and used the sinker up and in just kept going down the middle. 5 times in a row and my opponent was still late on the gravity ball
