Hold down your CTRL button as you click on the cancel button, and just keep clicking without having to hit OK and watch the page reload

The CPU will attack if they have a +2 advantage in an adjacent hexagon. So if you have a 1 in a hexagon next to another team controlled hexagon of 3 or more, they will attack. They will not attack your hexagon if you have 4 or more in that hexagon.

I believe it decreases with successful hits and runs given up on that specific pitch. Pitch confidence increases slightly with every successful swing and miss strike. Again not 100% sure but I think that is how it works.

I don’t trust the CPU. I NEVER steal because I always think the CPU knows I’ve just pressed the button. So they know when to pitch out or pick.

But yesterday I gave it a go with Lou Brock with 99/99… i pressed the steal button and L1 to lead off. I was picked off by bad animation.

And that is why I’ll never try to steal again

The CPU never pitches out once the count is 2 balls or 2 strikes (0-2, 1-2, 2-2, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2). I usually wait to steal until then.

The bad jumps and pickoffs are a completely different story, lol.

I’ve been picked off by the cpu in 2 ball and two strike counts. It used to be the case that you could safely go in as my two ball count, but not anymore.

They wont pitch out though. I also said pickoffs and bad jumps are a different story, but I have never seen them pitch out once the count gets to either 2 balls or 2 strikes.

They will ABSOLUTELY pitch out on 0-2 and 1-2 counts, but not on 2-0, 2-1 and 2-2.

BTW there’s a way to avoid pickoffs at 1B… works 100% of the time.

News to me, I've never seen a pitch out in those counts. I will steal at 0-2, 1-2 all the time, and I have yet to see a pitchout.

It's very likely they are only offering these in July and August because of vacations. When you're gone for a week or two, you may need something like this to get to the end. If everybody was getting to the end just fine, they would never offer it.

I'm pretty sure I can provide a challenge as worst hitter. I strike out at least 15 times a game and if I get 4 hits, that's great. I've tried everything and I just never seem to get better but I keep playing because Iike baseball.
I just accept that I suck at this game so it doesn't bother me anymore.

"Pure Analog" mode allows you to just push the swing stick and not have to choose a direction with the other stick. You are choosing your direction depending upon the angle you push the swing stick. For a right-handed batter on a high outside fastball, push it to the upper right (i.e 1:00). Push it to 10:00 (mid-upper left) for a high inside sinker, etc. It definitely takes practice to figure out how to make contact and get hits on any decent pitcher. Pure Analog is actually much more complex than it is given credit for, it just has a really bad name. You will not have as much success at hitting as the button smashers, but I find "swinging" the stick/bat in Pure Analog mode to be a much more rewarding gaming experience.

I get this a lot from people and it’s always the pitcher that goes for the ball instead of the catcher. It’s frustrating

Or are all the bunt animations random? I have had a handful of guys drop the softest bunts right in front of home plate and I swear it has to be on purpose because it triggers this insanely slow drawn out animation and they are safe by a mile.

The best way to do it is to hit the ball so you can actually enjoy playing the game .................

Yeah SDS planned Field of dreams program for the week Madden released.

So my guess for Team Affinity 4 is for the week 2K22 is released.

SdS planned FoD for the week that the Yankees and White Sox played there. I doubt MLB got SDS approval before picking that date. Also, what good does it do SDS to have you play the game for one more week before switching to another sports game?

Yeah I forgot about the real FOD MLB game tonight so good point.

I disagree completely with your second take though. Although these companies have a monopoly on their particular sport, they do pay attention to the other sports game competition. 2K had one of their biggest pack drops this cycle when The Show 21 released.

It happens every year. The game plays well at launch and just needs some minor tweaking. For some reason they spend the next few months over-tweaking it and it eventually ends up being a HR or bust game.

But there's no longer manufacturing runs at this point. It's a HRD.

Yeah that's a good point. It's the ridiculous stat scale that they use. Should be capped at 99. I'll never understand why they did this.

Every year, there's always one free agent reliever and one minor league stadium that I'm just a magnet for. No matter how many times I do exchanges, I'll inevitably end up with 2 dozen of Scratchnut McCookies and 40 Oak Park Stadiums or whatever.

The equipment should change per load out, after it is activated you can change the appearance for each load out. But after you switch load outs it will revert back to what you have equipped. You will have to keep changing your appearance which sucks.

This is clearly a bug and I remember reading about it since day 1. Kind of sad it hasnt been fixed yet...

It's subtle, but if you search REALLY hard, you might be able to find it.

Also if you pitch with him an entire game or what not, then for the next game, swap to the first squad and change your load out back to ss and he’ll recover stamina while playing that next game so it’s a win win.
