Does CFD Drain exist in DD? Why does my #1 pitch have such low confidence?

I know what CFD Drain does but wasn't sure if it was a thing in DD. For my RTTS player or regular players. I am in a ranked seasons game right now with my RTTS player and it's the 7th inning i have given up 2 hits and 1 run back in the 2nd inning. The confidence bar around my fastball (A button) is like 25% full only.... I am pretty sure that is the pitch I gave up the HR on but still that was a long time ago and I have given up 1 hit since. I even have the bigger yellow bar on the pitcher meter.

Sooo any idea why my fastball confidence is low and how do I improve it because apparently pitching well doesnt work lol.

I believe it decreases with successful hits and runs given up on that specific pitch. Pitch confidence increases slightly with every successful swing and miss strike. Again not 100% sure but I think that is how it works.
