How does DD work if I start a new RTTS loadout with a different position?

I currently have my RTTS Shortstop on my DD team. I started a whole new RTTS save and created a loadout for an SP. How does this work with my SS currently on my DD team? Will my position just change based off of whatever loadout I have active in RTTS? Or could/should I just make a two way player and grind the pitching attributes out since the player will already have my hitting attributes upgrade on him......

For DD, You can have your short stop still in the lineup but in order for you to be able pitch with him just duplicate your current squad. Once you have the 2nd squad, you want to sub your ss for somebody else and make sure he’s not on the bench either. After he’s off the second teams roster/lineup, back out to the DD main screen and go up to the top where your player icon is and then change his position on his card to pitcher. Then you’re good! Just go back and search for him on the second squad where he’ll be rated at 65 for both starting and relief pitchers but the attributes are diamond.

Also if you pitch with him an entire game or what not, then for the next game, swap to the first squad and change your load out back to ss and he’ll recover stamina while playing that next game so it’s a win win.
