3rd inning is a bust for me

The issues I’m having with the content is 80% is recycled. If we want to get technical outside of the Team Affinity Prospects its 100% recycled. Each Inning program so far has included someone that was a mainstay in line ups last year. They also are already recycling the new “Legends”. Roberts has already been in lineups as a gold since week 1. Victorino also has been widespread from team collections. Chipper has been around forever. At this rate we wont get too many ‘new” legends until near end of the games life. We will get the best versions of Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Ortiz, etc at a time when The game is almost obsolete. SDS could have had some decency to sneak in an Albert Belle or player of his quality its been 2 years. I’d rather have him again instead of Bob Feller’s racist [censored] again and again.

So don’t use the cards? Not everyone has a god squad & believe it or not, some people are fans of the guys they dropped. Maybe their card isn’t great .. still allows them to be used before they’re absolutely useless later in the year. So quick to complain, yikes man.
I didn’t know that only glowing positive comments could be made on this forum. I’m so sorry for my indiscretions. I didn’t say anything in an overly dickish way. Chill, I think the program is a bust, you don’t, great, different strokes for different folks. I can still express my view and it’s not a horrible thing like I came on here swearing saying sds is @$&$ . I love the game, don’t like the program any of the rewards or cards. More prospects ends at 600 blah. End rant

Undoubtedly entitled to your opinion. I’m chill lol, just think complaining 30 mins or so into content drop is a bit ridiculous. Thanks for making it clear for everybody tho that you aren’t a fan & the cards are a bust. Carry-on everyone.

im not interested in any of the cards. il just keep grinding on the team affinities
-
All but one of these cards is good enough to start on my team. Not everybody plays 24-7 and has all the best cards in the game.
-
These are good cards unless you paid$ to get the collection reward cards

How exactly is Bob Feller racist?

Chipper is only card who could make my bench as a pinch hitter, fielding and speed suck. He’s basically a lefty specialist only
Defense is important, but man, Chipper is always glitchy at the plate, and usually does fine fielding.

Imagine being this miserable playing a game you can’t quit
I’m not miserable , I enjoy the game. Program still sucks mr kiss [censored] / hate on everyone’s post
I don’t hate on anyone’s post. It’s the simple fact that people come in here and complain about every little aspect of the game yet still can’t quit it.
They complain about the game... You complain about them. Both the same.

Conquest gave me one silver, a QS diamond and a gold card tho.

I think all three guys make most peoples squad, unless youve completed the collections. Roberts is better than Sandburg; switch hitter with a better swing. Shane is a poor manys Mantle and Chipper...common, its Chipper! Youre using his swing on you CAP.
Roberts is not better than Sandberg . I’ll take Ryno 80+ power from both sides all day everyday also his swing is fine IMO.

If you play far above your stats, it's glitchy. Glitchy bats tend to have the really quick swing (Suarez, Blackmon, Mondesi, etc), but what gets overlooked is the glitchy glove. Frank Thomas ALWAYS has terrific defense, despite almost always being a common level fielder. I can turn more difficult double plays with Frank than I can with Olson
-
OP is right. These bosses are a joke. You're going to grind for days to get one of these cards and they won't be on your squad come August. Two guys with no power and one guy who only crushes lefties. SMH. fail.

you can have Lightning Didi's stats, and still be glitchy. playing above your stats is playing above your stats, no matter what they are

They're not meant to be on your squad come August. The're meant to be competitive for the next couple of months or so. We're seeing, or at least I'm hoping, a linear progression of cards. I'm in hopes we won't begin to see the 99s until at least October or November.
The 3rd inning boss cards are more than competive, compared to the cards that are obtainable now (minus LS collection rewards and xp rewards of course). They are top cards now, and competive for the next couple of months.

Chipper as a bench bat?! I’ll take a bronze defender with good contact and pop who can hit from both sides of the plate any day of the week.

Ever tried out peoples advice before? Maybe one day you’ll try alternate swings on your cap who keeps the same attribute and you’ll understand.
