For me it's a tossup between Major League and Field of Dreams.
Unpopular opinion: Bull Durham is one of the worst movies I've ever seen., and I don't get what people enjoy about it.

Little Big League was/is my favorite. I don’t think it would have been what it was without the 94 strike.
We really haven’t had a good baseball movie released in a long time.

Major League 2!!
-
Field of Dreams, Moneyball, A League of Their Own, Benchwarmers. And lastly, Bull Durham.
Oh, and Major League.
And I forgot, even though it's not a movie, Eastbound and down.

Little big league (best baseball action as they use real players on opposing teams and former players as some of the twins)
I was an extra in that film. Just a face in the crowd.
Interesting note: The scenes that I was an extra for were filmed, If my memory serves, in early November in New Comiskey (the game was supposed to be in NY). There were actually snow flurries on the day. We were supposed to dress like it was summer. But if watch the scene when Cain makes a great catch against the wall you can see the crowd behind the dugout is all in long sleeves and dark colors. I was one of the few with actual short sleeves wearing a white t-shirt. I had layers on though and my jacket on my lap for between takes.

For me, it’s For Love of the Game! Forget the love story. There’s so much stuff in that movie that gave me chills. From the way nobody sat next to him while he had the perfect game going. The way he would see his parents in the stands as he walked off the field. The movie made me cry and it had nothing to do with the love story lol!

That's an awesome story! Thanks for sharing! People should check that movie out since most don't remember it or haven't heard of it.

How’s the new movie on Netflix or amazon prime? Looks like some honkey in college or in the minors or something.
Full Count is what it’s called, I believe. -

Does Anyone else think Eastbound and Down is a nod to Rod Beck? I’ve heard people say it’s Mitch Williams, but Beck actually was closer I think. When he got sent down to the minors he’d drive an RV to the park and get drunk with fans before the game, just sitting on a lawn chair like a average dude. I met him a couple times and he was like a more subdued version of Kenny Powers. The first time I saw Danny McBride I said “that guy could play Beck in a biopic”. Then a few years later EB+D down came out.
