I feel the same way about my silver LS Bo Bichette. Oh whoa is me.

Tops Now cards will give way to easily earned 'Finest' cards in a few weeks. Late in the cycle it will not be uncommon to see a complete team of finest players capable of outperforming a legendary team you have done all the hard work to put together.
And that is OK. Did you have fun putting together the team you wanted? Did you have fun collecting the cards?
Late adopters may have a harder time getting Mantle, Biggio, and Trout on their teams. Late adopters have no access to the free Boss level cards you earned through the Innings Programs because without the vouchers there is no way to earn enough stars...It's OK. Newcomers need a way to compete or they won't stick around. If you want the same juiced high end cards, you have just as much ability to acquire them.
Last year this game was fun to play all through the winter.
It's the "I bought Trout, Arenado, & Bellinger and you didn't event."
Were you planning to wear your hat tomorrow, or just looking to read you steel book while contemplating the lack of toilet paper?
Baseball is unique amongst the major sports in the US in that there is no hard salary cap.
As such, there are small market teams and there are major market teams...and varying levels of spending in between. There are teams which pay tremendous amounts in luxury tax and consistently win division races and world championships.
But every now and then a team that takes in more in luxury tax than than they spend on the field sneaks their way into a World Series. Does a championship mean more to the Royals than to the Yankees? You bet. Would most baseball fans prefer to see an upstart Pirates squad upend the mighty Dodgers payroll? Absolutely.
Do you now understand why some people who compete with NMS take a little more pride in the feat? I hope so.
At some point you have to look at the damage you are doing to your pen and the long term consequence this will create in future games. 1 win may not be worth the long term effects.
At 15 innings I'm offering the friendly quit.

No news yet.
My guess it will be Rockie and impact vet cards. I only base this off of the fact the next event is BO and FS so mixing 2 series together
Wow. Good thing I stockpiled all of those Rockies cards.
I was really hoping the final conquest map would be against the signature teams. That would have been a nice way to round out the season.
Maybe replaying Conquest maps associated with certain programs should always produce stars for that program.
Anyone who plays in the daytime is a scrub. Prove me wrong.

New hint said the player has thousands of hits. Only Flashback players with over 2000 hits and an MVP are pujols and Miggy
Well Barry Zito is the Rhino on The Masked Singer. If only he were still playing ball...
Bip Roberts...just for the name Bip...plus we need more representation for the early 19990's World Champion Blue Jays teams and a switch hitting 2B with speed ain't a bad place to start.

The 2020 Topps Now card issued for Dr. Anthony Fauci for throwing out this year's 1st pitch (This exists)
If I am playing the CPU in a conquest game or v CPU All-Star game as part of a program...why the hell not? I'm usually only applying limited attention to those games while watching the news or Netflix.
They were definitely in the 9th and 10th inning reward paths and conquest maps last year. This year they are creating quite a conundrum for me though. I should be hitting Prestige Level 10 later this week and when I do I will need to choose between filthy cheater PS Springer (freeing up a PS card to auction off and cash in on) while collecting my 15th PS for the Trout collection...or do I grab Jose Ramirez and his swinging pool noodle so I can be one card closer to the Finest collection? What to do? What to do?
Every year PS cards are the collection in shortest supply. Whenever PS cards appear early on as henchmen or Event rewards I always make it a point to grab them cheap. I love Eddie Murray at 1B. I picked up 2 of his PS cards for 10K each when he was an event reward. Sold one during the stub sale for 160K.
MLBTS 16 was "Show me you can press triangle and bunt down the 3rd base line." If the bunt cheese element weren't there it was probably the best gameplay we've had...but all you needed t do to have a competitive team was collect 1-2 divisions and complete conquest + feed missions.
No, a player picking up the game for the first time right now could not compete. That would be silly.
A player with experience playing previous MLBTS games and just getting MLBTS20 right now could give many players a fun and competitive game though. That is what counts.
He who has the most fun wins.

One player with absolutely no hustle at all is Awards Sheffield. Hit a weak chopper down the third base line, basically a swinging bunt and he pulled that slow jog like they would on an easy grounder to second. any hustle (with 71 speed) would have beat it out...easy! Come on man!
Agreed. Sheffield shows no urgency at all. Imagine if he had continued as a SS?
The new MA Nick Castellanos plays well at 1st if you are looking for a right handed 1B bat. He's free if you've done all the Monthly Awards programs including the MA Tatis.
