    This game is getting ridiculous

What is the deal SDS? Why are you guys nerfing the [censored] out of lower level guys? Every time i play someone who is silver or bronze i can literally do nothing in the game. Just lost to a silver level player who has a team average of .175 and he blasted hrs like crazy and was literally throwing meatballs at me know i wasnt going to hit it anywhere. I dont mind losing but to do it to players i should be beating easily because of of a slider nerf or whatever it is sucks. Ive seen alot of streamers having trouble beating lesser comp as well. Im a .275 hitter, which is not great but im 100 percent certain this game is nerfing low level player abilities. Id rather play 2k at this point and i hate 2k. I cant be the only one dealing with this BS.

    RE: Contact swing

I don’t use it at all and I agree with you 100 percent but I almost see why people use it. Especially above all star. Pitch speeds are insane and the pci is tiny. I never remember hitting ever being this difficult. Playing guys with insane records and seeing most of their hitters having like .130 batting averages is saying something. Takes the fun out of the game for me personally. If you made CS or World Series you really earned it this year more than any

I don't think they did him dirty. I think the card actually looks really good. Glavine is still usable and Pedro is a lot like Glavine. Great control with nasty break.

Glavine is unreal good especially on HOF and legend. One of my best pitchers

@scottd_3ds_psn said in Wonder why people complain?:

If you enjoy baseball, and this is an amazingly brilliant animated simulation, then you turn on the game expecting to have fun. At least an enjoyable experience. But more times than not, the game leaves you frustrated, puzzled, bored and sometimes even angry. So you turn it off. But you love baseball, so you turn it back on, hoping to have fun. It is a game, right? Games should be fun. Imo, the game needs drastic changes to appeal to the majority of the ones who spent money on it. Maybe SDS could start by listening to the ones playing the game. And their complaints.

Unfortunately they don’t care bro. Not unless someone else drops a decent baseball game, we will always get this copy and paste mess every year. We can either stop buying it or deal with it unfortunately

The hitting is better in 20, more in tuned with user skill...you prolly like 19 because its for beginners prolly...I guess we all had to start from somewhere. Keep practicing and maybe when you're gonna enough you'll graduate to 20.

Maybe one day you can graduate elementary school and learn how to spell or complete basic sentences....prolly 🤷‍♂️

RE: The best advice I can give...

@AlexTheGreater7_XBL said in The best advice I can give...:

@SchnauzerFace_MLBTS said in The best advice I can give...:

    That's very good advice.

My best advice is to never eat poisoned waffles, not matter how good they look. You'll tell yourself, "yes, I saw my wife lace these waffles with digitalis. But just a tiny little piece isn't going to hurt anyone." Then you realize that "tiny little piece" didn't have much strawberry compote. And you know that she mixed a generous amount of thallium in with the compote, but, still, you say, "OK, I might spend a rough afternoon on the toilet, but it's nothing I haven't lived through before. Just one more bite."

Oh, man! You realize that you forgot to add some powdered sugar! If you're going to do this, you gotta do it right, ya know? Sure, you actually saw the security camera footage of your wife pouring ricin into the powdered sugar contaner, so you quickly Google "how much ricin can I eat and still be OK?" Then you double it (half of the mixture is presumably powdered sugar, after all) and then scoop away just a little bit. That should keep you on this side of the living, right?

But after all that Googling, you realize the syrup has had time to run off the sides of the waffle and pool on the plate. You have very good reason to believe that your wife's new lover mixed ethylene glycol into the syrup, but that's not a problem. You can Google your way through this. A lethal dose of antifreeze is between 500-1500 mL. Just to be safe, you carefully measure out 999 mL (again, we're assuming half the mixture is legitimate, delicious, delicious syrup).

Turns out the thallium made the strawberry compote a little bitter, so you go to the fridge. The only fruits you have are pokeweed, juniper, cotoneaster, yew berries, and mistletoe. Some more Googling tells you all of these are poisonous. But! You've outsmarted the poisons! The digitalis is going to give your heart a jump start, but juuuust the right amount of mistletoe is going to even things out. You know what you're doing.

Before you realize it, you're at the toaster for your second batch of waffles. As far as you know, your wife didn't lace these with digitalis, but the mistletoe really added something special and you're not willing to forgo that extra kick on the second round, so you add juuuust a touch of foxglove to counteract the phoratoxins. A little more whipped cream, a little sprinkling of powdered ricin. Handful of berries, and you're good to go.

Right? Wrong. You may not realize it at the time, but four servings of waffles with all that butter, syrup, powdered sugar, and fructose from the berries is going to put you on a path to inflamed joints, spiked blood sugar, and skyrocketing triglycerides. It's not worth it, friends. It's not.

UNLESS you've had a rough day and you feel like you've earned a little treat or a quick pick-me-up. Happiness isn't found on the end of a fork, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't treat yourself. You deserve it!

So, in the end... eat the waffles.

I can't have gluten, so this offends me. How dare you sir.

    Lol well played

Yeah and Mathew’s is going for like 450,000. Once the flash sale is over there will probably be the chance to buy a pack at the normal price. Good luck to whoever is paying near a half million for these rare cards

@saintleo14_MLBTS said in I’ve defended this game for too long:

I understand getting beat by an opponent.

    Last two ranked games played
    Game 1:
2-1 win, score in the bottom of the 9th. 5 hits for me 2 for them. They struck out 18 times, me 2.

    Game 2:
4-3 loss, give up a 2 run walk off HR. I have 13 hits, they have 4. They strike out 20 times, me 4.

I’ll never say I’m the greatest at this game, and strange things happen in baseball, but [censored]. I can’t help but feel like there are factors in play that are more than just user skill.

Usually I wouldn’t complain, but I feel like there are games like this more often than not lately. I still love the game but [censored] lol.

Feel your pain. I just lost to a guy who was hitting under .200 with most of his team and couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat for half the game. Then started fouling off pitches he should even of made contact with. Then proceeded to start blasting homers like a WS player. Literally could throw nothing to him. Balls in the dirt, over his head etc. Hit or fouled off everything. Only happened after I opened up a lead on him. Like you said, don’t mind losing to someone better but this game is more RNG/Scripted based than skill based.

...on today's daily Moment! Only needing a hit! It should have been at least required hitting a dong! I think the Moment should have been 3 dongs in 3 games as Cal hit a dong in game 2129, hit a dong in game 2130, and hit a dong in game 2131!

    😂 😂 😂

I will definitely not see 2632 broken in my lifetime since it will take 17 full 162-game seasons to overcome that record.

And the way organizations treat and train their players today, they made sure it will never be broken again. 😉

You are correct sir! There are numerous records that will never be broken. Ripken, consecutive games played. DiMaggio hitting streak. Ryan 5700 strikeouts. Rose/Ichiro (however you look at it) all time hits. I’m 99% sure no one will ever hit .400 again and I’m 100% sure no one will win 300 games again. Nobody will sniff Bonds walks record….both single season and career.

Also records that will never be broken:

Henderson's 130 stolen bases in a career as well as his lifetime total because it's now a big deal when someone steals 30 in a season.

I used to love watching him and Vince Coleman in the 80s. Those 2 were on another level stealing bases. Now 30 steals is elite. Game has changed a lot for sure

    RE: Timing windows today

Yes I’ve noticed it for the last few days honestly. Game is very inconsistent with timing windows and pitch speeds. Between that and the RNG, it’s getting too stressful to play online

    RE: DEAR SDS

Unfortunately skill at the game is starting to take a backseat to RNG. I thought divisions separate skill but not the case on this train wreck. I don’t mind losing to a better player but when you get matched up with someone you know you should beat, the game does nothing but bail them out the entire game. While you swing UNDER a high sinker and ground into double plays?? And hit perfect/perfect pop ups to the catcher etc. Like I said, I have no problem losing to someone better at all. But losing to the A.I is ridiculous
