I would to if you are taking an extra lead between stepping off and throwing over eventually I will pick you off or throw off your timing at the plate and get you out.

He can only step off three times if you aren't taking the extra lead, if you are then too bad.

You are the one that is delaying the game. He is only trying to counter you.
The sportsmanlike thing to do once your opponent sees you are taking an extra step lead and throws over/steps off a few times, is to stop taking an extra step and move your runner with the bat.

Don’t really blame you. It can get frustrating with cpu feedback and bs, and then run into a bunt dancer , mr pause every 3 seconds or extra step man

I think it is just shortsightedness. The worst ones are those that know they are exploiting the game. Fortunately, lots of them turn out to be not that great at hitting, which is probably why they resort to cheesing the basepaths.

Lol, shows how little you know, take a step with a 90s speed guy and he will take 2nd even with a pitch out. Hell I have taken 2nd with a 90 speed guy in a pitch out without a step.
