Yep “get 12 total bases “. How? 6 doubles with a guy that is lucky to hit it hard enough to go in the gap?

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X_PSN said in SDS: Non-Sellable rewards:
If you're going to start making these Ranked and BR rewards non-sellable; at least make them Core cards.
Since I'll never make 12-0 and it usually costs me 50-60K in entry fees to make it to 100pya; I have no interest in playing BR.
I'd rather save my stubs.
The exact reason you’re describing is the exact reason why those rewards are non sellable. The game wants to give people an incentive to go 12-0. The game wants you to become a good player and by making the program reward non sellable it rewards those who put in the effort to be great at the game with a sellable version of the same reward that you can’t sell. It also stops market inflation. So all I can say to you is work on going 12-0 rather than settling for program completion. And yes I do realize some people will never achieve that goal and all I can say to that is keep trying maybe one day you luck into it. By the way I have never gone 12-0 either. Not because I’m not capable of it but because I have too much of a temper and rage when I perceive that I’m being screwed by RNG so I just don’t play it anymore. I am 100% capable of doing it if I put my mind to it.
This argument is flawed, the people that go 12-0 will easily acheive the awards, and sell the dupes. Meanwhile, most people will only acquire one card that is non-sellable, not all of the cards. So it vastly hurts the average player that wants to sell the card and get a card they want instead.
It’s physics are totally shot. It comes out like a breaking pitch and seems to speed up at the last second. It’s not unhittable but it is off and needs to be reworked

I've been pretty silent on this but I'll give some opinions now. As a person whose job it has been for over 25 years to manage, store code for and debug data, here's my take...
SDS did the right thing by banning innocents inadvertantly. Every minute these stubs and activity is out there, it becomes harder to unravel and causes more harm to the market. This year, the market has been more stable than ever. People haven't been making millions flipping. That says it all.
SDS has the data to back up ANY claim of innocence. If you are in fact innocent, send in your ticket. Be polite. Cite some dates and transactions. It will only help expedite.
Like many other "veterans" of this community, it's not "our" population affected by this. Why? We know better man. Simple, and factual statement. We've seen shady stuff over the years and know that you either buy stubs via the appropriate parties, or earn them through the game.
Streamers advertising 3rd party stub sellers and people thinking those sales are legit, I don't have sympathy for. Those same streamers are likely getting kick back from those 3rd party sellers.
I'm sure there are innocent people that have been banned. I get it. Innocent before proven guilty works with laws, but not private companies in an online virtual environment that you agree to use under those terms, everytime you log in.
the streamers should get banned too for advertising said sites

So far, so good. I’m impressed with the new patch so far. Now if SDS would just crack down on cheaters including several who’ve posted in this thread...
I heard they were gonna patch all people with low iqs that can’t understand how freeze offs work off the game
I don’t know dude, this game is playing the best it has all year. If they could just patch fly balls not locking on ( again) and the pitchers hanging too many good feedback pitches then it would be great. Obviously if you miss the meter or analog then it should possibly hang, but not on good feedback
Cool story bro. Come back the next game when you lose due to 3 errors and your perfect perfects all go for outs lol
The game seems to pick and choose when your hits work and don’t work. One game you get good results, the next one with the same feedback, you get weak flys and line outs. I understand some will be outs but if one game the p/p is a bomb, then why isn’t it the next game? ( with the same player)
@Nats19Champions said in Feierabend is patched:
Agree. I had some cheater bring him in a few weeks ago. I had no idea who he was and was stifled for several innings before finally hitting a walkoff homer. It felt so good to beat the cheating piece of garbage who used him.
How is that cheating? Phil Niekro and Tim Wakefield, RA Dickey just cheated their way to wins in the league lololol
Trout mantle and walker or Cobb for me

Buddy, it’s been this way since forever and they’ve heard the same sorry every year. Time to just recognize it and adjust like the rest of us because unfortunately, I don’t see it changing anytime soon
If enough people say it loud enough maybe they will change it
My other gripe is similar to you talking about a cutter. It looks like a breaking pitch out the hand. It either goes up or out. Im pretty sure it comes out like a fastball and drops. I am late often on them bc i think they are sliders or curves in the split second of release.
@onlySOLACE3_PSN said in Pitching changes:
The team at SDS need to lock pitching changes once an at bat starts because it's just a cheese thing they can eliminate. I also wouldn't be opposed to them including a random generator for picking amongst user pitchers in co op where they have the pitchers ranked from best to worst and that way the matchup is "fair" and we don't have to see teams bring Bob Gibson out of the bullpen in the second inning. Or heavily nerf the stamina of starters once the game starts
why is that a cheese thing? thats the rules of MLB. You can replace the pitcher if you want if they meet the stipulations of removal. (face three batters in an inning or finish an inning)
@Skarmaen_PSN said in Team Affinity:
Yes but they are worse than the Charisma bosses from TA1 w/ a few exceptions.
As mentioned, doing so goes a long way for set collections. However, grinding out programs like this only for collection fodder is not going to keep my interest very much longer. I suspect I am not alone thinking this way.
this is exactly what i have thought. They are worse than the Charisma bosses. Only a few worth a poot. The grind isnt awful compared to past games but it dang sure takes longer than I want to use Cleveland or Diamondback players lol
@Dolenz_PSN said in Ranked and BR Change Explanation:
I have used the phrase before and I am sure that I will use it again.
Aggressive Monetization.
Everything about this years game seems to be pushing people to buy stubs.
- 99's in very expensive packs that are sold for a very short time, ensuring their rarity and higher prices.
- Expiration dates on cards, which means you may have to pay a lot of stubs for a 99 of your favorite players multiple times.
- No Sell POTM cards
- No Sell BR program rewards
- Pitiful Stubs payouts in programs, moments, and now Showdowns. In showdown you used to be able to make your stubs back after three or four bosses. Not so in the Kaiju showdown.
So more expensive cards than ever before + less opportunities to earn stubs = Aggressive Monetization.
i noticed that too. The stub rewards are smaller than last year. If i buy a pack or a card off the market it seems to take me twice as long to recover it. My pack luck has sucked for the most part, so that doesnt help either lol. I did manage to pull trout, but none of the other gatekeepers so far. I am normally done with collections by now but the stubs just arent there this year.
wait til you start playing on PS5, its unbelievably better and more smooth.
Mookies high ratings are not all based on hitting...he is high in other areas and that elevates his card.

@Pergo_MLBTS said in Expiring Cards is absolutely ridiculous:
They don't really "expire" and you don't have to "burn" them like in the analogy you used. You just can't use them in modes where Set 1 cards are not eligible. You can still use them in other modes where Set 1 cards are eligible, or you can use one as your wild card in any mode.
Dude I don’t play anything but online modes lol
Which majority of people do in this game
I absolutely hate playing against the computer- I play one game of mini seasons on HOF to get warmed up and then it’s online play for me(mostly co-op ranked and regular ranked
i hope set 3 has some bangers because Set two has been overall very disappointing when it comes to batters.

They just updated his picture because the old one had the indians logo on the sleeve. Gotta make sure to erase all history.
Was it Chief Wahoo?
Because that was one hundred percent offensive to many people. If I am correct I read most native Americans don’t care about the names of sports teams
This native american could care less if a team is named Indian or Seminole or whatever. Im more offended that there is no team called the "Creeks"
ah i misunderstood...i get it now. maye thats why i only get 7 innings sometimes in ranked games
BC its not an inning.....its 1/3 or 2/3 of an inning
