Who’s the best left handed outfielder?
-
I currently run Babe Ruth and Griffey Jr. who are both beasts for me. I got Griffey at CF and Babe at RF. I can’t seem to find another outfielder that’s I’m comfortable with.
I’ve tried Larry Walker and the new Snider and haven’t really been impressed. Both of them are left hitters and there stats look amazing against right handed pitchers but that hasn’t been the case. So I’m looking for an LF who is left handed and crushes against right handed pitchers. Who would you recommend?

Depends on what you mean who’s the best. For me Lou Brock is the best lead off guy but I’d say Griffey is more valueable for your team. Corbin Carroll is good,Tony Gwynn,Babe Ruth….there’s a lot of great choices and really it’s who you click with who’s best. I’m sure most people on here wouldn’t pick Carroll but I LOVE that card.

99 Nick Swisher. Free card and he is a switch hitter that throws left handed.

Griffey Jr. 5 tool player; and, for me at least, best swing in the game. Comes with 90 speed, superb fielding. Don’t know what more to say. I guess it depends on the user.
[Edit: Sorry was tired when I read that. Misread what post said. Ignore my post and my mistake.]

He’s currently running Griffey in center. Said he was looking for a left handed LF is the way I read it

Oh, thanks. I guess I was too tired when I read that. Thanks for letting me know.

Maybe Gibson? I only used him for his exp. for the current program but did really well with him.
-
Shawn green and Steve Finley are both elite.
-
Green, Finley, Gibson and Luis. All are very similar just depends on whose swing you like more. The new Swisher all looks good but I have yet to try him.
-
Without knowing the rest of your squad I would recommend Chipper in LF if you’re thinking offensive
-
My vote is for Finley.
-
Finley, Gonzalez, and Corbin Carroll let’s go d-backs!
-
Shawn Green, Finley or Gonzo. All are elite!
-
Soto. Still really really good.

I haven’t tried Bryce Harper’s 99 yet. I usually like his swing though.

I tried him. Batting really well with him. Hasn’t hit a lot of homers yet but he hits lefty/lefty with the best of them. I don’t know if he’s better than some of the other big cards we recently got. He’s definitely good though.

If I don’t find time to play and get him in the event since he is in a flashback pack, I will probably pick him up to try.

He’s pretty cheap now that he’s in the rewind pack. I got him for like 49.

Soto. Still really really good.
His HRD card is too slow and his defensive attributes are too low for me to use him in the field.

Swisher, Brock,Stargill,Billy Williams, Finley alot of really good sneaky hitters available. Fielding attributes are good enough for left field.
