I wish they had done this for Pujols as that was certainly just as big if not bigger. But, I do want more content always. So this is a W.

You nailed it bro. We’re getting a milestone card for Judge.

Man I love Judge IRL but with that height and low vision in game they gave him 75 😬 should still be fine on Allstar.

His really tall in game like my god . I hit better with Stanton for some reason I rake with that card and his tall as well.

I agree. I love hitting with Stanton. I only use him off the bench as a pinch hitter but I’m batting over .500 with him.

I'm not saying that Judge has had a better career just that the season he is having is one of the greatest ever so it's hard to blame MLB or SDS for celebrating it.

And most of us (there are always contrarians) have never said Judge didn't have a great season and most of us have never said it should not have been celebrated with a program.

Almost everyone is this thread is saying the same thing. Pujols should have gotten a program to celebrate his career in addition to the program to celebrate Judges season.

Whether you hold one accomplishment as more noteworthy than the other is irrelevant as they are both worthy of being celebrated.

As a Cardinal fan who is looking at losing two of the franchises most iconic players for the next few iterations of this game I just was hoping for a little more in way of celebration of their accomplishments, especially Pujols hitting 700 HRs.

Pujols should have gotten a program too. That being said, a few moments, an exchange, and PXP mission with Yankees isn't exactly something to be jealous of. That's hardly much more of a "celebration" than the free pack in the shop was.

Edit: I just looked at the missions. 62 HR, 177 hits, 28 doubles, and 16 SB. Nevermind. This may be a longer grind than I thought.

No kidding all those stats are required?! I’m glad they just gave us Pujols. I work a lot of overtime. I simply don’t have time for BS anymore.

Pretty much. I only looked briefly, but if my math is correct you need to do every mission and moment to get to 62 points, which is when you get Judge. There are a few exchanges that I think could get you 6 points, so you may be able to skip 1 or 2 things. I'm just going to do all the moments today, and use a Yankee lineup for a game or two, and then unlock the rest naturally.

    He deserves it.
The man is a beast, and many will consider him the true single season HR King over Giant Head Barry Bonds, Steroid Godzilla McGuire, and singles hitter turned roid rager Sammy Sosa.
You go with your bad self, Aaron Judge.
Court is in session, B word!

“Singles hitter turned roid rager” lol. Bro nobody goes from a singles hitter to over 600 bombs because of a magic pill. I don’t care if it’s the greatest magic pill ever!!

Exactly. I can't stand that steroids have tainted certain records but to dumb it down that a pill or shot of something gave someone the ability to hit a lot of homers is stupid.

You honestly don't think it's as straight forward or as simple as "a pill or shot gave someone the ability to hit homers" do you?

Maybe the better question is why do you think those guys took steroids?

The answer is: because the owners didn’t care.

I might have phrased it poorly but I'm talking about what steroids can do both positively and negatively for the body. Players wouldn't have taken them if they didn't give them an advantage. Just seeing if the poster I quoted can list some of those advantages.

A simplistic answer would probably be that they thought it would give them an edge over the rest of the competition. I'm sure it probably helped in recovery and gaining strength faster.

A few of the reasons for sure. Steroids don't necessarily help a hitter make contact with a ball. They help that contact/bat speed become more solid therefore producing those homers. Apologies if I misunderstood your earlier post.

Yeah. I was just saying that it would be silly to think that steroids suddenly gave you the ability to be a prolific home run hitter, as the previous poster implies about Sosa.

I knew what you meant bro. Back when all this first started MLB had no rules against steroids. Then when they did the owners still looked the other way cuz the league was recovering from a devastating work stoppage and the turnstiles were spinning like crazy (they didn’t care)! It’s crazy how the strike is a moment in history that is kinda lost. People have no clue how much all of these factors played into the rampant steroid problem. Most people are only interested in the “truth” that fits their narrative. Bonds is the greatest hitter that ever lived and the steroid era saved the game!! I’m old enough to remember the attendance numbers in early ‘95. People were pissed and they weren’t coming back.
