Possibly a 99 Bob Gibson? I don't think anyone considers him endgame even at 99 overall and he currently only has a 90 overall as his highest card.
I'd also really like a Lou Brock card. His highest is a 74 overall rookie card. Again he is not an end game card in most cases so holding him back does not make a lot of sense.
You know better cards for these two are coming. So it is a matter of when and where and now that they are rolling out 99's getting these out sooner makes sense. In a few months they won't move the needle for anyone except diehard Cardinal fans.
Now that I think about it a better there are a lot of legends on the Cardinals that are most likely getting better cards.
Gibson, Musial and Pujols are probably getting 99 cards.
Edmonds could get a better card than his current 94
Lou Brock could get a mid to upper 90's
Ozzie possibly gets a card better than a 93I am still waiting on a lights out Gibby. Nobody deserves a card that belongs at the top of rotations more than him.

Mantle pls

This next Feature Program has to be fire u would think right ?. Give people a reason to get excited and keep playing.Three Bosses who you guys think it will be ?.. I’m hoping for 1) Mantle 2) Honus 3) Pedro Martinez with Outlier quirk.
I would rather see Pedro with higher per-9s than an outlier quirk. Of course I don’t think we we will see them yet. I could be wrong.
Ohhhhh. Takahashi Pedro card would be niceeee.
I agree. I am not a huge fan of Pedro as a person, but, as a fan a great pitching, he was one of the best of his time.

I think the bigger question is what/ who will Extreme consist of. If it is Mantle/ Gehrig/ Babe/ Chipper/ Trout or along those lines, they could really make the next set of bosses lack luster. Now if they are going to focus extreme on one future, one present and one past then maybe we still get some big names. I know the next promo comes out before extreme but everything is already in on SDSs master plan. The next promo could also be fire because of the direct completion with Madden. Of course in the same respect SDS might just punt this promo know they can't compete with MUT.
I’m hoping if Extreme is happening that it’s a 99 Chipper.
I’m not sure what your last sentence means. I think you are either taking a shot at Madden or this game. To be fair, I haven’t played MUT or Madden at all since a couple releases ago. I guess I never really got into it and DD had a far better game. -

Not entirely true. I'd love better cards for legends like Mantle, Gehrig and those type of guys.
But I do pay closest attention to the Cardinals as they are my favorite team and I try and build the best Cardinals Squad that I can each year. It is the only theme team that I build so it is the group of players that I am most aware of when it comes to my knowledge of what cards are already in the game vs what cards are likely still unreleased.
I am sure I could go through each team and make a similar list but I will leave that to the fans of those specific teams

SdS knows this so they don't even try to keep those players from leaving the show. I still play both but the Show is definitely superior in thier collections, auction house and the amount of free stuff they give out. DD just seems to get stale after the World Series with the same 3 inning grinds, same moments and facing identical teams during ranked and events.

Ozzie possibly gets a card better than a 93Please. Your Cardinals theme team (or your main squad since you seem to care less about anyone else) is already loaded.
You've got 5 90+ starters in your rotation.
Red Sox? 2
You've got arguably the best closer in the game in 97 Helsley.
Red Sox? 88 Eovaldi. Lol.
But I forgot. There's a large market bias! Or not.
-
My wishlist:
- Pedro with 115+ H/9 and Outlier.
- Any 99 Closer (but preferably Aroldis)
That's basically it. I'm good on hitters.

Did I try to claim that they Cardinals were any better or worse off than any other team? No.
Did I say that others could not advocate for their favorite teams and players? No.
But if I was going to advocate for other teams it would not be the Red Sox. As of last week the Red Sox were tied for the 4th most legends and flashback cards of any team in the game. Cardinals were like 12th last week but are probably higher now with Molina and Topps Now Montgomery.
If I were advocating for other teams I would be advocating for the Royals, Rays, Brewers and White Sox. As of last week they all have fewer than 20 flashback and legend cards each. That is between 9 and 12 fewer flashbacks than the Red Sox.
And here here are the counts as of right now.....
Red Sox - 29 Flashback and Legends
- 22 Diamonds
- 4 Golds
- 2 Silvers
- 1 Bronze
Cardinals - 26 Flashback and Legends
- 21 Diamonds
- 3 Golds
- 0 Silvers
- 2 Bronze
And just to show that neither of us should be complaining
Brewers - 17 Flashback and Legends
- 13 diamonds
- 3 Golds
- 1 silver
-
Just a few cards I’d like to see
Lou Brock
Francisco Lindor
Mickey Mantle
Eddie Murray
Brooks RobinsonThe last 2 were mainly because I’m an O’s fan but last years Eddie was pretty good.

So because there are a lot of good Cardinals in the game he should want more Red Sox and not his own team? I can understand if he was making claims that this game is unfair to the Cardinals, but all he did was answer the post with players he'd like to see. You beat us in the WS twice in a row. Where does this Cardinals hate come from haha
Anyway, I'll bite and list a few Red Sox I'd like to see despite them being my least favorite team. Again, only because you beat us twice.
Pedro- needs a solid H/9 and a good pitch mix.
Sale- I know we already have a 97 so this is unlikely...at least right now but I loved his 99 last year..
Mookie- loved his awards card last year
BoggsCardinals I'd like to see 99s of-
Bob Gibson
Lou Brock
Jim Edmonds- not really boss worthy but I love his 94.
Stan the Man
Pujols- I know there is already a 97 and 99.
Arenado
OzzieOther cards I'd like to see as bosses-
Hershiser- Dog days of summer (Credit @SaveFarris_PSN )
Dibble
Rickey H
Gossage
Wagner
Gwynn
Mays
Banks
Chipper
Etc etc -

I agree, people who play Madden will play it when it comes out. Nothing is going to change that, at least not on SDS’ end. I play MLB year round. I don’t feel that need to play like when new content is being released. I get what you mean though.

I disagree that people don’t consider a 99 Gibson “endgame.” He usually gets a pretty dominant card. That doesn’t mean he won’t get it soon.
