No need to get into details. Just do not play events. Play it if you want to get every hit taken away from dives, goods turned to lates/earlies, and out hitting and pitching your opponent but still losing. If that’s what you want then play it. Good Luck!!
I noticed this too. Buuuut you will get rewarded at some point. I hit 5 bombs in one inning after lining out 1000 times. All this while my opponent nearly late hit me to death.

I believe you’re talking about Battle Royal, but let’s just be clear, virtual currency buy ins is not like paying to play. Even if you don’t win a single game in BR you still earn a pack which ironically costs the same as the BR buy in. So what are you really paying for.

Events do not cost anything to play…free entries. Battle Royale is a different mode than what is being discussed here and it costs 1500 stubs with a guaranteed pack. But the mode discussed here is 100% free.
Yep if you get 3 or even 6 wins you made stubs in BR. I see BR entry the same as buying packs.

No you're wrong. I never said events cost stubs. I also never said BR. It was an open ended statement. If you were a lawyer on trial your case would be thrown out.

The topic is about events, which means if you knew events did not require a buy in, you were just posting something completely irrevlant. You followed that up with a belligerent response because people couldn't follow your broken logic.

Yea, last night was rough period. Did Custom BP on HOF and was crushing including HR's on 1st 3 pitches. Couple of which on 99 mph fastballs. Get in event and can't read pitches and getting beat on 91. Felt like I was swinging a pool noodle. This was 3 different connections I tried - wired, wireless and vpn. Everything was the same. Had a 6-0 run and jumped into a BR game hoping it would play different. It did not. Luckily, I won the game and got out of that mode immediately.
I turned off cross-play and the timing definitely feels better, I'm on ps4.
Have you tried turning off cross-play?

GD, I thought they were suppose to reduce the foul balls? Guys getting more hits outside the zone than inside in these events. Didn’t expect anything less. Well played, Mauer.

Have you tried turning off cross-play?
I've had cross play off for a while. Game is a joke during like 6-9 cst no matter what connection I have.

No using randy wasn’t the issue, Use your bullpen. If you need to use two starters in an event game your just a try hard

Played my first event ever last night and really enjoyed it. No toxic players like some people warn...maybe it's fun if you just go in and have fun.
And I echo what @genopolanco_PSN said, why be on a forum for a game you don't like?
I find events that are 6 innings attract a different player base, everyone I played last night were great players and played the right way. Was super enjoyable night
I don't think its the 6 innings as much as any cheese balls can't really do their thing with quick counts on
I’ve never been a quick count fan, but decided to give this one a try. So far I am really enjoying it. Probably the most fun I have had all year. Lots of stuff thrown in the zone and you have to work to keep your opponent off balance.
Yea same , I’m actually enjoying this event. I thought I wouldn’t but it’s actually enjoyable. When I posted this I was talking about the last event, not this one.
