Who surprises you in the batters box?

FOTF Lindor. Wasn’t a huge fan of his cards in previous years but this year he smacks
-
Idk what changed about Nolan (could never hit with him before), but I’m crushing with him this year lol
-
Kyle Tucker
Jazz Chisholm

LS Freddie Freeman
FOTF Mitch Haniger
FOTF Jazz
LS bronze Ryan O’HernBad:
Prospect Adley
Cover Josh Donaldson
FOTF Wander -

FOTF WanderGood call with Wander. Last year, his Boss FS card and I were inseperable. I don't have an RBI with his FOTF yet.
-
I cannot get LS Marcus semien out of my lineup.
I cannot hit a lick with FOTF jazz Chisholm.
Anime Ricky Henderson is all or nothing. Either 4-4 or 0-4. Nothing in between.

That’s awesome. Having to do the royals city program, he was a nice surprise. Also not a bad BR or early showdown bat

Either you thought you'd rake with them and you your bat is all noodle or you've never had success and now you mash.
Gary Carter- last year he was the only 99 from TA4 that I basically never used. His 96 second half card destroys worlds.
Cedric Mullins- I.....can't....hit....anything.
Proof of what I have always said, some cards play better for people and worse for others, Mullins feels like a glitch for me, just crushes everything. It's why I have never been a big fan of card recommend posts.

And its very possible I'll stick him in another lineup amd crush with him next week. I've never need able to hit with Carter and yet, here we are, I've got a near .600 avg with mostly XBHs (offline of course). You are 100% right, sometimes it's different strokes for different folks, and me not hitting with Mullins is all me, not his card.
-
Gary Sanchez and Eddie Matthews. I couldn't hit with them last year, but this year I can't take them out of the lineup.
-
Good:
FOTF Devers was solid for the longest time. HE was a no sell for me so I was kind of forced to use him otherwise I would have never had him in my lineup. Gary Sanchez has been a nice surprise, I still have yet to find a catcher I truly love. Josh Bell was also very clutch.Bad: Its mostly user error. I'm having trouble getting Big Frank going, but small sample size. Rizzo's bat was ok and I wanted to like him but I cursed him so much for his slow running speed. The verdict is also still out on Vlad Jr but Im confident to say that for his cost, he is a disappointment.

Idk if it’s just me but timing feels the same with everyone this year so it really just comes down to ratings and quirks.
True.
Except for Pujols. My god....

I picked Mauer to start the game but he’s not even on the bench now. Switch hitting Panda is behind the plate and I’m surprised by how much power he has compared to his attributes. But hey I’m a Giants fan he will always make my team somewhere. His 97 Daily last year was quickly turned into a P5 99 bomber
Loved that Panda card from last year!

This is one of the things i love about this game. And it helps w/ lineup diversity. If people have different results with same cards i tend to think it's more player skill than RNG which is a good thing.
I do understand frustrations of some cases where it feels RNG for them but I approach it on a case by case moreso than just outright saying game is total RNG.
Oh btw:
FOTF - Bellinger (Rakes 4 me)
LS Jram - Beast
-
Adley Rutschman I can't hit for nothing with
JP Crawford is a singles machine and I thought he would suck
