There is a reason why moderators don't want this kind of thing posted on the forum. It could just result in finger pointing from both sides with baseless accusations. You claim your opponent froze the game on purpose. They could just as easily create an account here and say the same about you.
If you have an issue, report it in game or use https://theshow.sonysandiegostudio.games/hc/en-us/requests/new
If you have a chat log or other evidence that he froze the game on purpose, you could attach it. If you don't have that, then him intentionally freezing the game was likely an assumption on your part, and while proper etiquette is for the losing team to quit, a lot of people don't follow that and try to win at all costs. I've been stuck in plenty of freeze offs with those types of people, and I agree that it sucks. All online games with a sizable player base will have some toxic tools.
Freeze offs in MLB The Show have been going on since at least 17 when I started playing Diamond Dynasty, and clearly SDS has not been able to prevent them or come up with a reasonable solution. I hope they're continuing to work on fixes and maybe a more elegant solution than two people twiddling their thumbs for hours on end waiting for the other to blink, but I also won't hold my breath.
As hoboadam said, you're just going to get put in the time out chair. If you want a chance at actually seeing results, do it the right way. This forum post will accomplish nothing.

I just looked at his game history.
I looked at his first page of games, which goes back to the 7th.
Your game was the only one I saw where he got a win while losing. His record in those 25 games is 11-14. It does not look like the history of someone abusing freeze offs somehow.
Did you actually do any research before accusing him?

Sometimes, less is best. This is definitely one of those cases.
I was only trying to point out that posting a PSN name with a complaint etc will (and should) result in a ban.
As others already did the research, the OP should reconsider and delete the original message. Just trying to be helpful here.
For the others, more MLB the Show players use other forums than this one. Unfortunately, this is a small audience and you won't get much accomplished with flames and pitchforks here.

No offense to the OP but the amount of people who assume cheating is going on when there isn't tend to be fairly high, at least anecdotally in my experience.

Thanks, and yes it's me. When I created the Switch account I decided it was time for a new name since I graduated over a decade ago and I'm now an old man. I was originally going to keep the PennStateFencer name for the forum, but it's easier to stay logged in on the Switch account since I use the website market a lot.

I have been in about 4 freeze offs already...none were caused by the other player...all due to some glitch that causes it (one time I robbed a HR and it froze, the other 3 just seemed random)

yep...normally its just a game problem that causes the freeze, not the other player

Oh, I realize that. Why attribute something to a bug or simply bad luck when you can blame other players or SDS of somehow conspiring against you.
It happens every day and countless times every day on this forum alone.

I thought so. Foo Fighters are one pf my favorites as well. I'm so bummed about Taylor and wouldn't be surprised if they hang it up, though I hope not. Maybe Grohl and Josh Homme of my favorite band Queens of the Stone Age can make some haunting tunes together.

When I see the word 'Griefers,' I think of the early days of RDR2 online. That was crazy!!! Soon as you spawn online, either someone bucked you down or hogtied you.
