With pinpoint pitching he's good. He has a lot of break on his pitches. Kinda unpredictable break. Sometimes huge break and his fastball is good,

He gets lit up for me.
Nobody chases out his off speed out of the zone….his cutter floats…his fastball is meat. Only thing he has going is the forkball. Seems like people have trouble lining it up in the zone, but still lay off of it easily out of the zone.

I haven't hit him very well in a limited sample size but I sure have been lit up when I pitch with him!

TBH you're probably a way better online player than I am. My record isn't bad bynall means but online isn't my first choice. I struggle usually to make great contact hitting the ball. There always seems to be a lag. I do play on a TV and I think most good players playing a monitor? I might be wrong about that too. With that being said I do pitch fairly well online. Ohtani isn't my ace by all means and I could see how he could get lit up by someone good. I really like Al Leiter and All Star Lance Lynn. Obviously I love Degrom and Cabrera too but I feel like Im breaking unwritten bro code using them. I've always done well with 94 Pedro and Maddux,

He doesn’t throw a forkball. He throws a splitter which is a totally different pitch. Forkball requires the ball to be jammed between your index finger and middle finger where as the splitter is only slightly wider split grip than a 2 seamer.

He sucks for me. He’s about to come out of my lineup. also he I’m only hitting around .200 with him but take that w a grain of salt bcuz I suck

I just took him out last night. He would be an absolutely perfect LRP, but of course you can’t use him like that.

Disagree, he been dominate for me. Just have to set his off speed up by pounding the fb and tunneling all his pitches.

How do you pound the fastball though? People seem to not have any issue hitting his fastball. I really want to keep him in the rotation because it is really fun to play with him, but I have like a 6.50 ERA with him in like 120 innings online haha.

His fastball and curve ball are very good for me. I just wish he didn’t only have a splitter instead of change. His slider sucks it’s more like a slurve. It’s very flat most times

Do not agree. He has 26 K's for me in 13 innings. He does give up some homers, but every pitcher in this game does. Now, as a hitter I cannot buy a hit to save my life.

The slider and cutter both float. If they were like typical sliders and cutters he would probably be filthy.

Fastball- Seems best if you angle it with the release from the hand.
Slider-Floats and nobody chases it running in or away. Have had some success burying it or having it sneak back in from the hands on righties.
Cutter-Seems most effective to me as a change up. Can’t run it in on lefties and get them to swing fastball like other pitchers. It floats too much.
Splitter- Seems most effective out of all his pitches.People don’t seem to chase it low too often, but don’t square it up too much in the zone.
Curveball- It is a good curveball, but it is a curveball. Some dudes hammer it and never chase it and some dudes flail at it….

It really depends on the opponent, you have to find where they struggle. For some people, low fastball/splitter works well. Against righties, outside fastball/cutter/slider can make people look silly. The curveball can be effective, but don’t overuse it and definitely don’t throw it in the zone.

I think the problem is his throwing motion. It is very straight up and down so you don't get any sort of angle to help with pitch break. Most guys pitch from one side of the mound or the other and then have like a three quarters release (some are even more of cross body throwers. Ohtani is pitching from like 12 on a clock so easier to pick up what pitch is coming.
