    RE: Who believes this

I don't believe that. I'm a little too busy with my life to entertain fantasy conspiracy theories involving a video game.

    RE: Too Much Content?

My mild OCD makes me want to finish every program so it's pretty daunting at times imo. Played way less RS this year because of it for sure

RE: To the guy who squeezed in a run with Harmon Killebrew

In RS it's pathetic. But in BR anything goes! And in events I'd probably do it if I was grinding it and thought it had a good chance of working. Time saved is a precious commodity sometimes!
I also have no issue with people doin it to me for the same reasons.

However, the people that take the extra lead every pitch, the people that call time at the plate in EVERY 2 strike count (Yes, I experienced this very recently!), the practice swingers of years gone by, the bunt dancers, the habitual HR replayers, the ones that try to make u think a can of corn is a HR by sprinting towards the wall, and finally, the people who take the near maximum time between every pitch in a FUTILE attempt to fool the batter into thinking a PHAT one is coming right down the pipe via auto-pitch, did I cover everyone? Well........

They can all choke on a BBC!

    Love,

    Bill

    Happy Holidays everyone.

Long post. PSA about a scammer among us

I just wanted to make TSN community aware of a situation that occurred and prevent anyone else from being scammed by this shady TSN member. I know we can't post screennames so here is a list of hints that should make it somewhat simple to figure out who this person is.

    1. He's apparently not a very "big" person, judging from his screenname?
    2. He may be a bowler? Nothing but a guess, but a perfect game in bowling is 300. I've bowled a 300 btw. (Humble Brag obv)
    3. He's a staunch supporter of the team from the Bronx
    4. His life was "SERIOUSLY ADVERSELY AFFECTED" by the inability to practice swing in MLB 19. But he made it through this tough blow by now electing to call time at the plate an estimate of 15 times per game.
Ok, that should be enough hints I think. Onto the tale of the scam.

I actually posted last February that this player and myself were going to play a 7 game series on Legend difficulty for a friendly lil wager. We're both baseball fans so we wagered 20 "baseball cards" and he won. I said I'd like a rematch but he insisted on being paid first. He didn't have to ask since I have character and immediately sent him he 20 cards I owed him.

We then played for 50 'baseball cards" and he was once again victorious. Once again, I immediately paid my debt. He said he greatly appreciated me being a man of my word. We then played a 3rd series for 100 "baseball cards" and I came out on top. This was highlighted by a 2nd inning grand slam by none other than Yankees nemesis, Finest Mookie Betts to make it 6-0 if he hadn't dashboarded it, anyway.

He didn't pay right away but said he would on that weekend I said as long as I get it before MLBTS 19 comes out, that's fine. Well, fast forward 11 months and he still has not squared our account. Yes, I'd like my baseball cards but I'll certainly live. Frankly, posting this is infinitely more satisfying.

For the last year, he has promised no less than a dozen times to settle up but every deadline came and went. The site wouldn't take his payment, he bought the 'cards" but accidentally left them at a friend's house, etc. etc. etc. I'll give him credit for not falling off the face of the Earth and completely ignoring me but that is definitely where the credit ends.

He's also exhibited extremely inappropriate, childish, and just flat out bizarre behavior the past year. I'd message him about it and then 4 days later he'd say things like "Let's play, I'll destroy you." He wouldn't even address the issue at hand. I said we can play all you want once you make good. A lot of this back and forth has gone on for nearly a year now.

I finally threatened to make a post like this MONTHS AGO and he finally showed at least a bit of contrition and offered to throw in an extra 25 "baseball cards". A nice gesture on his part I suppose. but an easy one to offer when you're never gonna pay anyway, right? I finally gave him his wish and played him 3 times earlier this week and beat him all 3 but I was very "lucky" was all he took away from those games.

I could go on and on but I'll wrap this up. Sorry it was so long folks. I just wanted to make the community aware of this person so no other decent people get take advantage of. I'm just glad that he respects me being a man of my word. I clearly earned at least a bit of his admiration for that since it is very clearly a personality trait he is not very familiar with, and certainly does not possess!

Thanks for reading and here's hoping to a great version of MLBTS for 2020!

    Love,

    Bill

Took a while for me to get used to him. He's one of my favorites now tho. So much better than last year's version. And that arm has thrown out more than a few that even surprised me.

Thats not happening and I'm a Dodger fan.

Why is his price so high? Did they quit putting him in packs? That's about the only thing that makes sense.

    RE: Too much??

I think reattaching some exclusivity to a few top tier cards is great. The last few years made getting every card way too easy. As for all the SDS is becoming EA talk, you realize SDS isn't a
non-profit, right? They should try to make $. They also owe that to their shareholders. Just my 2 cents tho.
