Wow you're a very angry individual. Did I ever say anything about rng? Did I every say the broken hitting and pitching is the reason that I am not some elite player? No. I am very happy for you that you are so great at this game but that doesn't change the fact that the hitting or pitching is not messed up. It just means that you are a lot better at the game so congrats on that. A lot of the players that are even better than you say the same thing as us peasants of this game. You being so great doesn't really prove anything. The fact that pitchers who have control in the mid to high 90's with high energy and confidence can still have their pitches not go where you want a lot of the time with perfect release makes me believe that the pitching in this game is not very good or "broken" as a lot of people say. the fact that you can have almost centered up pci with a player and it is a lazy fly ball but then can have your pci not even be on the ball or at the edge of the pci but result in a homerun with that same hitter, pitcher, and field does not make much sense to me. I have been helped and hurt by the crappy hitting probably equally so I never blamed anything on that. Next time take a deep breath before responding to someone.

First off kid, I’ve taken you to town on at least one occasion. Second I have a career that doesn’t allow me to play every second of every day. Third the majority of my time playing this game I spend in events because I like that format better than RS where I don’t have to deal with people cheesing every possible aspect of the game. So please spare me your holier than thou attitude.
We’ve literally never played before lol
How convenient, get a case of selective memory when the truth doesn’t suit your narrative. We played earlier this year in RS and you got smoked. But it really doesn’t matter to me I’ve beaten far better than you and I don’t feel the need to make assumptions about other player and how they obtained their records because records mean nothing as is the case between me and you. So please go troll someone else. I certainly don’t need to prove anything to you. You’re neither my wife nor my employer. 157 pages of game history and my psn and my old psn didn’t pop up in your played games, it’s almost like I don’t know.... we’ve never played before

This. On top of the floaters a perfect pitch release should result in that pitch going exactly where you wanted it to. I agree a good release should be penalized a small amount but not drift a few feet and bean a batter. That is for poor releases.
Agreed. Even bad pitchers can hit a spot when their mechanics line up in real life. There's two things they can do to fix this. 1. Make the yellow line harder or easier to hit based on a pitchers control. The better the pitcher, there bigger there yellow line. Maybe make a perfect release option like they did with throws home. 2. make a pitchers "PCI", like a circle that indicates where the ball could go upon release with each pitch having a different sized circle based on how good that pitcher is wity that pitch. It's really baffling how they haven't figured this out yet. It's not that hard to come up with something that takes into account user input AND player attributes. But they have zero reason to change. No competition in town.
The pitching mechanic you talk about is basically pulse.

So...you adjust. you've had almost a year now. If they end up higher than you want, start them lower. I'm not great at the game, I can't hit worth a darn, but my ERA is fantastic. No pitcher SP or RP has an ERA above 2. While I question the universal profile stats accuracy, it says my ERA is .64 through 1500 games.
That's mostly on all-star, with some occasional games in the 700's.
So again, adjust.

️For the last few weeks? Sure, I'm only playing online to finish prestige stats, usually after work, I want to spend time with my wife and kids. Got 5 or 6 guys prestiged. Once I reach that, i quit. It's too late in the year to care about much else. (you'll see I have several games I quit while winning).
But, If you are a single guy with a cat, sure, your record matters . Enjoy the extra time
If you are ever lucky enough to have a wonderful marriage and family like I have, a baseball game won't be a priority.

But you can't fight the truth, even if it doesn't fit your narrative. In the end, data is data, and your ability to agree with it is pointless. You can't change what has already happened. Sorry
I may be late to the party, but the guy you're arguing with (who enjoys having a difference in opinion), does have a wife and kids...he use to have a twitch account under a different name and mentioned having a wife and kids.
