I’m a Phillies fan I don’t necessarily like the Astros especially after the cheating. But some of y’all acting like they are gonna suck now because of this let’s be honest they are almost more than likely still one of the best teams in the AL. It’s sad because they cheated but the truth.
I have never accepted, made excuses nor condoned the cheating.
I'm tired of the stories from people crying though like it's the only reason THEIR team lost.
Astroa players have a ridiculous amount of baseball talent. VERY similar to guys that took PED. Bad judgement and a desire to gain an edge makes people do stupid, regrettable things.
Yea I’m not gonna lie I was a massive altuve fan. After the cheating scandal I’ve kinda fell off from being a fan of his. But people are acting like they are suddenly gonna be terrible and unable to hit. Altuve’s been good for years and theirs no evidence they cheated last year and look where they were to end the season. People are gonna be disappointed when the Astros are still really good.
Once point you missed. It's the "cool thing to do", which is pile on, beat that horse even while the glue factory has it's recovery team on the site.
Astros fans didn't cheat. Astros fans had a natural disaster destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, had spirit's lifted by baseball and now have disappointment about the very thing that some could say, saved that city in 2017.
But hey, it's cool to be a keyboard warrior.

I think they might skip the Astros this year, think about it how do you even start calculating what the attributes are?
Do the attributes take a hit in their overalls if you take out the 2017 season & if so how much? -

Modern era Astros cards should get a special 'Asterick' quirk which would result in the card always sucking no matter what the stats on the cards say.

so what about the 2018 Redsox?? Why not them?? Is it because the media and everyone else ignores that they cheated... and they were caught cheating in 2017 as well. Oh, and the Yankees. So no flashbacks of any of them. Or do we just selectively dismiss everyone else because you just hate the Astros??

Yeah it’s because people hate the Astros. If they hadn’t been so f’n cocky and smug about winning it all the public perception would be different.

In regard to steroids, let’s not forget, the owners KNEW they were on the juice and did NOTHING about it cuz they were trying to get the fans back. Steroids only helped those players recover from injury or helped prevent injury.........which is a big deal, but they didn’t know what was coming. We’re not talking about average joes like us. We’re talking about some of the best hitters in baseball. As much as I can’t stand the Astros, they have some of the best hitters in the world on their team. When hitters of that caliber know what’s coming, the rest is pretty easy!
As for the union, I’m a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. I am a very strong union man! This is one of those unfortunate instances in which the bad seeds get protected by the union. Instances like this is what has given unions a bad name. Hopefully in the next CBA the owners can negotiate unilateral power for the Commish in instances like this. It will have to be carefully worded so he can’t become a dictator. But I have no tolerance for this kind of behavior. I wish they would’ve been banned from the game. -

I didn't hate the Astros before they cheated. There's a lot more evidence of them cheating than the other teams. And it's been thoroughly investigated. And the way they've handled it all. they deserve the hate.

Why r u defending the Astros lol. And the Yankees stopped the Apple watches when the commissioner told them to in 2017 but the astros ignored it cuz they’re a scumbag organization. Know the facts before u type something. Don’t shift the blame

Here goes my long pose
I have no issue with the steroids, Some of you must not remember that baseball front office and Bud Selig is why we had those records broken. No one cared about the steroids until Canseco wrote his book and then when McGwire, Sosa and Bonds were breaking records it was all good for baseball especially after the strike in 94. Baseball would not have recovered the way it did without McGwire, Sosa and Bonds. The Fact that Bonds could not stand the Media made it worst. Bonds never admitted nor caught or suspended. There were no rules enforced at the time for Roids. How the baseball writers can keep these players out of the HOF is a shame on them. It was ignored for a long time. Arod should be the only one not to get in the HOF he got caught using after rules were put in place than again should he really not be put in the HOF.
What about the players in the 60's and 70's using what was called Greenie's to give hitters an advantage. It is documented. What about George Brett using Pine Tar, Guys who Cork the bats, Pitchers using what ever they can to put on the ball, Should all those records go away or erase all those players history's.
The Astros Cheated as a team that is the biggest difference. Yes the players did not get punished. Here is my problem Manfred said that Management would be held accountable, Tell me why Crane is still the owner, tell me why front office people, coaches, and the manager all got fired but the Owner gets off with nothing no suspension for a year with no baseball activity or ownership AT MIN. They could have forced him to sell the team. MLB failed in holding the owner accountable. Yeah they lost draft picks and a 5 million fine big deal.

Oh yea. Seeing it in spring training every year..Hey, they made the bed..Baseball retaliation has always been the beanball..Baseball played always stick together, but this issue we see the stars of the game talking..Belli saying Judge was robbed of MVP in 17, hell even Mike Trout had words..Hes a quiet humble star who doesnt say much..A whole lot more said things..Just beginning.I really feel they should vacated that title in the books..Hurts no one but in the future if they looked at the W.S winners that season would have stood out. Future generations would have wondered why..Same thing like the strike year 94. Forfeiting draft picks for a a season or 2 would have a big impact on the team as well..It was the attitude of alot of that organization when this came to light that really added fuel to the proverbial fire. Made the situation hella worse.

This is not about the Dodgers not hitting, this is about the Astros CHEATING, How does it make it OK that the Astros cheated because the dodgers did not hit well. As bad as the dodgers hit it still went 7????????????????
