does anyone actually like any of the soundtrack?
-
You don't own any Beck CDs?
-
Last year or the year before they had Greta Van Fleet in the soundtrack. They’re good. But I still turn it off every year. Just how i prefer it.
-
I think the artist performing the song in the MLB The Show 20 trailer is Vince Staples. I could be wrong but it does sound like him.
-
I like some of the soundtrack music but I’m very happy they allow us to download our own music so I can customize to my liking.
-
Anyone remember “How you like me now”?
That song was in like 10 different movies a couple years later. SDS out here starting world tours

I get it. it cost more to have any popular music but some of these are just bad music. find me one person who plays this game that has a album of any of the bands or whatever.
Me! I've attended concerts of the following artists who have been featured in MLB The Show, Big Grams, Band of Skulls, Whiskey Myers, Cage the Elephant, Beck, Chris Stapleton, Queens of the Stone Age, White Reaper, Barns Courtney, Run the Jewels, Spoon, Ty Segall, Black Joe Lewis, The Dead Weather, Eagles of Death Metal, Jidenna, Sam Roberts Band, The Struts, Death from Above 1979, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Flume and others
But I'm a huge concert guy.
Is there a genre you think is missing?

I think the music selection is too stratified. Really, it's either hip hop (which I'm fine with), dad rock (which I'm fine with, in moderation), or dad country (which I'm not all that fine with). For sure, this is entirely biased personal preference, but generally speaking, it would be nice to have not only more diversity in song selection, but more songs in general so it doesn't get stagnant so quickly. Some sort of mass licensing agreement with a ton of songs from across all genres would actually be pretty awesome.

i am really happy to hear you say this. i felt exactly the same over the years and hope that SDS takes me up on my offer for licensing tons of electronic music to the game

Non west coast rap would be pretty great to have ngl
Right now, unless I'm wrong, we only have Anderson Paak. (Who I like) and G-Eazy (who I don't), and in previous years I'm pretty sure most rap has been West coast on the soundtracks

Danny Brown or JID would be great, but I doubt either gets in. SDS clearly sticks to the local scenes
-
If MLB:TS 20 allows us to link our Spotify accounts in place is the preset soundtrack then I will have no reason to ever leave the house again.

IF YOU DIP I DIP would be ridiculous after a HR lol

I always enjoy the music. I've taken 2-3, songs from each year and port them to the latest. This year I'm doing that with every track from 15-19 plus adding 25 of my own.

Use to add some Iron Maiden and AC/DC to the sound track but now I usually stream something in the background.
