Minor issue. I mean, somebody could draw this types of images on paper and post them around your town on lamp posts or bus stations etc. Life isn't 100% sheltered about stuff you find disturbing. We just learn to respond and deal with it in a mature way.

@Barfy-Bad-Gas_XBL Same here, if you avoid playing DD mode, and treat this as an offline game, akin to baseball games on the Genesis, or N64 days, it's a great baseball sim.
-
I gave up on Diamond Dynasty really early this year. Probably before the first week after release. I now just play this game like it was one of the old style baseball games for Sega Genesis, or N64 back in the day. Just offline, classic regular season baseball mode, with no worries or cares about cards or stubs. I've got my sanity back by doing so. Diamond Dynasty is a mode I will NEVER play again.

Refreshing the companion app now prompts me to do a quick sale of an item.
-
I'm at the point I hope they do away with the app. I had no issues back in the day using the console to work the community market. That is the best way to combat bots.
-
I want them to get rid of the app altogether. I can sell my dupes on the console.

@go4stros25_PSN I know there are women gamers, and legitimate ones at that. I just agree that it's not 50% of gamers being female, more like 10%. The female gamers that do take this hobby seriously, I find to be quite skilled and are more than welcomed by myself in this hobby. It's just insulting to hear the feminist movement claim they need games that cater to them, when they only play The Sims, Candy Crush, or Farm Simulator.
-
@go4stros25_PSN That may be true, but at least those modes aren't out to suck my Wallet dry, nor do they have bots and cheaters out to ruin my experience.
-
@go4stros25_PSN Yeah, I have seen the claims about women being 50% of gamers now, and realized that it was because they have very loose definitions of what it takes to be considered a gamer now. A 45 year old woman on the bus playing Wordle for 5 minutes each week means the industry will report her as being just as much a gamer as you or I playing Elden Ring, Mortal Kombat or Expedition 33. It's all just false metrics. Reality is, women make up less than 10% of true gaming.
-
@go4stros25_PSN That's very true, but the app is also losing them customers with this game, whether those customers realize the app is a problem or not. Community market is ruined by bots, and that in turn affects the net, fun factor of the game. I for one have stopped playing Diamond dynasty outright, and just do the Road to the Show or Classic modes. This game should last me 4-5 years before I need to buy a new version release, because the modes I play aren't dependent on online connectivity.
-
@go4stros25_PSN I haven't played a mobile game in over a decade now. Mobile phones aren't anything close to real gaming.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN Here here. I would love it if they got rid of the app, and made the market only usable on the console. I no longer engage in the community market because it's 90% bots, so why try to play in that sandbox at all?
-
@go4stros25_PSN I am theorizing that the app is slow on purpose, maybe to mess up all the bots? That's just my tin foil hat theory at this point.
-
@NWOStunna_PSN I don't touch mobile gaming as a rule, and haven't in over 10 years. Mobile gaming is 100% gotcha based, and made for people who are not true gamers.
-
I've stopped caring. In fact, I don't even touch Diamond Dynasty mode anymore. I'm done with even thinking about cards and packs, etc. I still to the other, more traditional modes. I usually just play offline seasons with the real MLB rosters, or Road to the Show. When you wake up and realize that DD is nothing more than a scam and don't touch it, you enjoy the other parts of this game much more.
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL Correct. I personally don't touch anything related to Diamond Dynasty mode anymore. I have given that mode up cold turkey and now only play the traditional game modes, like offline season modes, made up of current and real MLB rosters rather than dabble in that whole cards and packs racket.
-
@ryguy034753_XBL The cheaters make them money (short term money). Cheaters encourage the behavior to buy higher ranked players in the marketplace, and thus leads to people buying stubs. Eventually though, this will weal thin of many people, and more and more people will just give up on the franchise.
-
@theShippKID_PSN To be honest, the entire AAA gaming industry is going down the tubes. This isn't something that is limited to just SDS studios. Gaming as a whole is turning into an extortion and poor quality, which is why I am finding myself playing mainly older games from over 10 years ago, mostly on PC.
-
Why would I buy stubs if everything you can buy with them is just being gate kept by bots? The days of buying stubs ended when bots became the only ones selling on the community market. I don't even play Diamonds Dynasty mode anymore because of the bots.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN SDS, please listen to your customer feedback and shut down the app. It's just pure cheating.
Stop making excuses for the disgusting logos in the vault. DO something about it.
My opinion of the game and my offline franchise

Quick Sale of item error when refreshing app.

How are you doing with the XP Reward Path?
There are still so many cheaters. They're easy to spot, why doesn't SDS do anything.
