Game Pass isn't free...it's a subscription service that I have paid real money for. Same with Netflix, I pay them monthly. I have just as much right to complain about or praise a game I paid for on Game Pass as any other consumer does.

Constitutional rights do not hold any weight in regards to private business relationships. But I do agree with your sentiment overall.

The anime cover is imo a perfect representation for Ohtani being the coverboy. It literally screams Japan, if anything the anime cover should have been the standard.

I'm by no means into the Anime scene whatsoever, but I too agree this cover fits Ohtani's theme.

I'm all for Xbox players getting a chance to play this game, but I have a feeling the fact this game is on Game Pass has deluged SDS servers beyond their limit. This game being on Game Pass must have hit them by surprise.

Never going to happen. A few weeks from now when many give up playing, SDS will give everyone a ten pack full of commons and bronzes to show how sorry they are.

So true...going to toss us a bone with a worthless pack of 65-75's that would combined fetch about 300 stubs on the marketplace. Keep in mind, these digital "We're sorry" packs that they will give us actually cost SDS absolutely nothing/zilch/nada in real world money. It's the perfect definition of a token gesture.

Make them high diamond sellable packs for each time the servers go down and I bet it never happens again.

Even if they give us diamond packs, it still costs SDS nothing in real currency. Digital goods are just a made up commodity that they can produce an infinite amount of. And giving everyone these cards will just dilute the market place evenly for everyone, so nobody would really gain anything from it as a whole.

This is what happens when a small time company makes a major sports video game. They either don’t have enough resources or they don’t have the correct resources. Either way, this is becoming very concerning, this should’ve been fixed by now.

lol. They are not a small company. It’s probably equipment upgrades that board members didn’t want to upgrade. Thats why games don’t improve much, board members. It’s not the devs, it’s them. They look at it like this, why spend money to improve when they will still sell around the same. Not a good investment to them until the money drops to a point where it is.

Pretty much every major corporation's approach...and you are right. Businesses don't care about the consumers until they see their pocket books shrink. It's always important to vote with your wallet.

I've only had 3 evenings to play this game this week...and each time the servers are down. Sad, that as someone who got into video games due to a baseball video game (Pete Rose Baseball for Atari...way back in time) is now just giving up on playing baseball video games.

I personally loved playing RTTS in previous years when I wanted to get away from the DD stuff. It felt like a safer, more relaxed game mode. I'm very disappointed in this year's RTTS, and not being able to carry my seasons over to this year's game. I'm already at the point where I'm going to be putting this game down for the long term and moving on to something else like RE8 starting next week.

I didn’t say safe space? We have pride flags available in custom stadiums, Jackie Robinson on the cover and a huge banner in MLB 20 for a month commemorating BLM. I’m asking all movements to be equally supported.

I wish all "movements" were left as being neutral when it comes to corporations, and let individual people support the movements that they hold dear to themselves and their friends. This is a baseball video game, I don't need their stance on the latest social justice activism movement of the week. Heck, I come to video games to get away from that background noise.

Resident Evil Village is out soon, and I know that I'm going to be out the door when that comes along.

So glad that I only invested time into this game and no money (Game Pass user). I've played this series of game for over a decade, but I had a feeling this year's version wasn't going to pan out well. I was going to buy this game physically if it actually was a good experience, but now I'll just use the money I would have spent on this game on Resident Evil Village instead.

Every time the servers crash, during the length of time, I spend some time writing bad reviews for it everywhere I can.
I suggest everyone who feels the same do exactly this. In the long run it will cause them to lose money. The more it goes down, the more people should use their voice to warn new players and others to not purchase or bother.
Tell the consumers what is wrong with the game and hit their "pocket books". Truly the only way they will fix their games.

I can't say I blame them. I wish more consumers would speak up against all these corporations who take people for granted. It's time regular folks stop capping for corps.

umm no, this is way beyond anything that has happened last 2 years

I can't recall it being even 1/10th as bad as this year's release was.

2017 was as bad, if not worse.

2017 was 4 years ago...not the last 2 years.

Thankfully, I got it on game pass, and when RE8 comes out next week, I can put this game down and not think about it again. And I've played Baseball games since the Atari days, and own the steelbook version of The Show for the past 7-8 years prior to this year.

Would love a different card after today’s announcement. Or just remove the card in general. I love that The Show stands up for racial equality but it’s time we also stand up and stop promoting cards like this as well.

I know you guys paid for rights for this card, but it just sucks.

Not trying to start an argument but I don’t think this is worth a support ticket. There are other cards too that should be retired as well like the countless Chapman cards each year. But with this news and support from the Blue Jays head office I think it’d be right. I really don’t want to see the card in my inventory and it’s a no sell card so it’s just gonna be kind of bothersome to have him there.

I’m sure there’s others who are gonna speak up in a toxic matter so if this topic needs to be locked or removed I understand, but I’d like to see something done for this.

I have no idea what happened as I've turned off and not read or payed attention to any news for the past 15-16 months at all, but I was a Jays fan growing up and always found Roberto Alomar to be off-putting and rather a poor sportsmanship player. But at the same time, I wish people would stop getting offended by anything and everything, and just grow some thicker skin. (Again, I have no idea what the current events of the world are). It's exactly why I've actively been avoiding "news" from all sources lately.
