Game pass is a slap in the face

The fact that so many of us pre ordered this game that we love. Only to have it [censored] on us with the horrible server problems and issues and lost challenges, experience, stubs, etc. And knowing they released it free on game pass only infuriates me even more. Not to mention the people that got it free on game pass having the audacity to complain about it. (But honestly. Free or not. Who wouldn't complain?!) This is a [censored] joke. Insulting and infuriating and a rip off. SDS should be ashamed.

Game Pass isn't free...it's a subscription service that I have paid real money for. Same with Netflix, I pay them monthly. I have just as much right to complain about or praise a game I paid for on Game Pass as any other consumer does.

- Who is "they"? It came out prior to launch that the MLB essentially told SDS that the game was to be put on game pass. SDS had no choice.

the game on gamepass was announced 3 weeks before launch. Cant blame the game if you did not know it was going to be on gamepass before you bought it.

I agree with the other posts on this thread, getting the game on GP is not getting the game "free", its getting a game that is included in the service you pay for.
Not sure what your getting at with the "preordered and paid long before that" and "also pay for gamepass"? Unless you werent aware it was coming to GP when you preordered and paid for the game (which is likely the case based on your statement, which has happened to me a few times with gamepass as well, which is why unless I am 100% sure it ISNT coming to gamepass, I wait before I fully pay off my preorder lol), not sure why you would effectively pay for the game twice lol, or just trying to win a pissing contest about who ordered the game and paid for before the other scenario?
Either way, with COVID forcing alot of dev teams to change the way they work,and throw in a new console generation smack in the middle of it im sure this wont be the last of game issues for many titles for a while. Like the others stated, they have the "audacity" to complain because they didnt get it free, they paid for GP just like you it doesnt make you any better or more entitled because you basically paid for the game twice lol.

Game pass isn't free, kid. It's also not permanently on gamepass. They put things on and off all the time. It won't be on long.

I wish PS Plus had it for free. Instead I paid $85 for the game and with the changes made, it doesn't work properly. I wouldn't be as upset if I a had gotten it for free on PS Plus.

People want to take a shot at it being in game pass...fine. But I defend any game pass player complaining. Regardless of how much initial investment was put in, at this point it’s about our time, and SDS not respecting it, After a long day, if you sit down to play the game, finish it and find it doesn’t count, you wasted your time and you can’t play more....that sucks hard whether you spent $100, 60 or the cost of game pass.

I preordered the game and i have gamepass. Who cares? Gamepass isnt free, stop spreadin BS lies. Its a paid service.

I have Game Pass but I preordered (and kept the preorder) for the $99 Jackie Robinson edition.
The problem with servers is all on Sony. They've historically gone cheap with online (ad hoc, anyone?), and they won't spend extra $$$ on getting new servers.
Say what you want about Madden and NBA 2K, but EA and 2K both make sure their servers can handle the population.

I too bought the $85 version even though I am also a Gamepass Ultimate subscriber. Gamepass has nothing to do with this.
