The Awards Todd Helton is a great addition to this Rockies fan's collection, but the source of his power is missing and it's crucial that it be addressed. Where is the Toddfather's glorious goatee? Much like the Romo naked face incident, this cannot stand!
The card itself shows him goateed, as does the action shot for the Event, but the player model is shamefully without his signature wide-bottomed goatee. Please address this in an immediate patch!
I spent more time than I care to admit recreating the original home of the Rockies and the place I saw my first concert (David Bowie/Duran Duran). Have a look:
I think you can download the newest one searching my gamer tag (theronjvr), though I haven't figured out downloading stadiums yet so I'm not sure.
Ask real baseball players how often a ball hit on the screws is caught. It's a lot.
Back pain
I just don't understand why they even have these forums if they're not going to communicate with their player base. As horrifying as Red Projeckt's Cyberpunk launch was, they did immediately own up to the multiple issues and didn't blame anyone else. Their president was cutting videos apologizing for the gameplay issues and they offered a roadmap for fixes and kept people aware of what was going on. SDS has thanked us for our "patience" every day but not given one explanation why the servers can't handle the 5:30 PDT load or what they're doing to address it. I can't believe the video game press hasn't called SDS out like it did RP, this is a hot mess that is so much worse than any of their previous launches, and the worst experience I've ever had with a new game. @Adam_SDS_PSN, @Victor_SDS_PSN or @Collin_SDS_PSN and every other community relations staffer SDS have should be giving daily updates on the server situation and SDS needs to be held accountable.

No need for speculation. The team is working hard on the connectivity issues.
I need to speak to your manager.
I don’t think they’ve apologized yet
Just had the same thing happen to me. They need to outline the map or bring up the contrast, you can't even see the tile on HDR
I mean, he/she could have figured out how you were pitching them. I hit a lot different after a few innings.
There really needs to be an incentive to play the game after you max the main program xp. This was an issue last year, but I thought it was an oversight from the first year implementation.
I by no means am one of the top players, and I have 10 days of the 30-day program where I gain no xp at all for any actions and have no real motive to play until the next program drops. Others maxed out way earlier than that.
It seems it wouldn't be too hard to award increased stubs when xp is maxed, or create an infinite epilogue to the program that awards vanilla packs or stubs every 100k or something after the end goal of the program.
Not that it matters from a gameplay standpoint, but today’s daily moment has the wrong date. It should be May 2, 2018 (not 2008). Betts wasn’t even in the league yet in 2008, but I only caught it because I was actually at that game at Fenway while visiting Boston. Nice day game with 80 degree weather in early May, and seeing Betts clobber the Royals was a treat.
I did get razzed for wearing a Rockies cap, but I guess that’s on brand. Fans actually made a young mom cry from the heckling they gave her for wearing a Royals jersey.

But you still progressed with universal xp before last year. I really don’t know why they decided to get rid of program independent progression, it was kind of fun to see if you could make diamond or higher by the end of the year. There’s nothing like that now, xp is only good for program rewards.
Same thing for me, I won the first playoff series in 5 games and even got the mini season icon reward, but haven't been able to even enter the mode since. Unhandled server exception each time.

BR, conquest mystery map, mini seasons, RS, events all Give rewards outside of xp. Plenty of ways to still play and earn things.
Or you could do all of those things while also earning XP. Also, mini seasons is still broken for me -- I get an unhandled server exception even trying to enter the mode after winning the first playoff series.
I had this happen too, but it also made my custom wall height all jagged as well. I was able to go in to the creator and it looked fine in there so I resaved and uploaded and it did indeed fix the issue for me.
I know there are issues with the new commentary (missing names, wrong calls, repetition), but as I was playing and watching a real game I noticed one glaring omission to play-by-play that should be somewhat easy to implement that would make the commentary much more realistic:
Include what they've done in previous at-bats in the game! Saying "Now batting, Seth Beer, who's 0 for 3 today" would really go a long way. Every baseball broadcast since the beginning has incorporated this for every at bat, and it's pretty glaring to omit.
Even better would be to actually talk about what they've done in more detail, like "Cron hit a 450-ft homer in the 3rd to give the Rockies the lead," but let's at least start simple.

Just because a pitch is on the outer third of the dish doesn’t mean a batter HAS to push the pitch to make the best contact, and the same goes for inside pitches, and down the middle pitches. Just because it’s inside, doesn’t mean you have to pull it to hit 95+ exit velo
It actually does work that way. There may be a few real life exceptions, but you certainly don't see an outside pitch pulled with authority very often.
@chieftexan_psn said in PCI Lock changed my life:
How exactly does it work?
You hold down L3 and select one of the zones to anchor the PCI. That is then the center of your zone for that batter (or until you adjust it again with L3). Really helps if you're always under pitches or can't get to inside fastballs your opponent spams.

I understand the kids are going to make their goofy fictional stadiums, but I'm willing to bet that the majority of the players that use this mode grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. We want the ability to recreate the stadiums we grew up with. cookie cutters like the Vet, Riverfront. 3 Rivers, Old Bush, The Murph, and domes like the Kingdome, the Astrodome etc etc....
This is exactly what I wanted. Disappointed they didn't even add any new props. Night games should have been in last year, and that being the only thing added this year is a major L.
