Let me start by saying I’m 63-8 in regular online rated play. I only play Online Rated with the Phillies and I am SO tired of playing the Yankees, Dodgers and Padres. Occasionally I’ll see the Cardinals, Braves and Mets but it’s mostly those top 3 teams. Are y’all scared to use your REAL team because they aren’t good and you can’t win with them? I’m sure I’ll get hate on this post but idc it’s so annoying playing the same teams and pitchers every day.
Stay away from Madden then...NHL or....wait. I can't believe people are using the highest rated % teams.

I was so hoping SDS would implement the Microsoft 120fps @ 4k patch in '21, yet no dice. I so wanted to run the CX at 4k@120 with the .3ms response time and 6.7ms input lag. Especially..... since I know it is possible in the game to run at 120hz....it is just being prevented, currently.
It has been stated here by the powers that be that this game is running at 4K/60fps and they aren’t doing 120fps.
Yes, I know that...for this year. However, '22 and beyond ....as more games move to 120...they will have a hard time not putting it in those year's releases....especially when Microsoft has done some of the work for them.
Even if it arrives only in '22.... the HDMI 2.1 spec that the console use to get 4k@120 will limit gaming monitors effectiveness moving forward because then it just is processor speed to further reduce input lag and response time. 240hz and 360hz gaming monitors only achieve 1ms and 4ms response times at 240hz and 360hz, not 120hz ..., currently. As the 120 is the gating restriction moving forward, gaming monitors won't be able to signficantly drop the input lag or response time much more than they already have for these new consoles. But...I know in '22 when The Show does support 120 (as other games will as well later this year) ..... that my input lag on my CX drops to 6.9ms, so I am in better shape than gaming monitors.

Here’s the problem. If they pick an mlb stadium and pitch well enough they can win games because they won’t suffer the consequences of mlb stadium lag.
Huh? Lag is lag, and directional players are not immune. It affects timing, and both zone and directional players control that aspect of the offensive game.
And you can tell if they are a directional hitter because they can’t hit certain pitches but can foul them off. Their ability to hit the most unhittable pitches that zone users struggle with doesn’t match up with why they miss some very easy floaters and meatballs. They tend to be poorly disciplined with their players averages below 280 but yet they have a ton of bombs. That’s usually all they hit.
Curious as to what "unhittable pitches" we can hit that zone players can't, though it's true that most of the high, hard stuff we're lucky to foul off with most players, but high average, high vision cards can do well with the right swing type and good timing. Not sure what you mean with reference to the floaters and meatballs... you can kill mistakes with directional.
As to being undisciplined, that again has nothing to do with the interface (I walk at a decent clip). Averages tend to be lower because results are more in line with real hitting, and don't give you BS results like pulling down and away sliders for no doubt bombs (this [censored] happens because the AI decides what your swing path and bat angle are at contact, and it's ridiculously favorable - directional players have to match that to pitch location). Power hitters have lower averages because they're pulling and swinging for launch angles, whereas contact players top .300 pretty easily while not trying to put a charge into everything.
But it all comes down to preference and the type of game you like; directional is high floor, low ceiling, with simulation like results.
Zone is low floor, high ceiling, with arcade style results for those who can put their little cross-hair on the ball.Lag affects the pci as well so you are wrong there.
Also down and in sliders are harder to hit with zone because you can’t control the bat angle and since it’s vertical it’s more likely to miss. With directional if you time it well it’s more easily hit out for a bomb.
I understand you like attributes taking over but In close low scoring games where one player has to manufacture a run vs a directional player who just has to time one pitch in a mlb stadium where the zone pci can lag its frustrating to lose to someone who is relying on luck and not skill.

Is dead. It does not update people's scores. The score someone has when you start, is the same score when your 3 outs is up. I've been playing the show for many years, and the live leaderboard should be updating in real time.
When it doesn't, it takes some of the fun out of it. It's like, oh, that person is 20k ahead of me. I'm going to catch him. Then you do, and then the 2 of you go back and forth on whose beating who's score.
The only score that changes is mine. Please fix this. Besides DD, this is my favorite mode.
