The Charisma showdown sucks. I don't usually have a problem with Showdowns but I just failed for the 3rd time on this one.

Yep, just buy the game on each system and link the accounts. I do this and it works well.

For me, I guess it's a deep frustration that the difficulty isn't the same across the board. The same veteran difficulty and sliders in a VS CPU game is the same veteran difficulty and sliders you should face in every ounce of content that is veteran difficulty. Whether it's showdowns, moments, or conquests. One difficulty. The same All-star Difficulty and sliders used for a VS CPU game should be the same All-star difficulty and sliders in every other ounce of content. Whether it's online, conquests, showdowns or moments. If The difficulty and sliders were the same across the board then there wouldn't be such a huge leap in difficult in online and showdowns and people would be better prepared for other content they don't normally do. They would know what to expect when they see the difficulty rating.

This has been one of my biggest complaints with this game over the years. The game plays differently in different modes. It needs to be consistent across the board.

There's a big difference in how the CPU plays this year. Even on the lower difficulties, they play much better.

Very happy that they did this. It's a great QOL addition.

I wasn't happy at all with the Cardinals pitching. Helsley looked just like he did last year in the playoffs, which is concerning.

SBs are easy against CPU. Or are you talking about in online Games? There is a trick that works pretty well using R2, watch some YouTube videos. I could try and explain but I'm not the best at explaining. I'm sure there are much better content creators who can.

I’ll have to look for the trick because I haven’t been able to get them at all this year against the CPU.

Don't the Cards usually have a lot of legends? Gibson, Musial, Brock, Sutter, sometimes Keith Hernandez, sometimes Jim Edmonds... is Lee Smith still in the game? I know we lost Hornsby and I guess also Enos Slaughter. But I do really hope that Ted Simmons is in the game next year. SDS needs to get crackin' on the catcher legends (Yogi, Camp, Simmons, FISK!, Gibson, Munson, Cochrane, etc)

Never mind -- I just looked up Lee Smith and he only played in St Louis for 4 years, so I guess that wouldn't be a good fit for Legends of the Franchise. For some reason I really thought he spent the first half of his career with the Cubs and the second half with the Cards. Weird.

This game NEEDS Ted Simmons!

Amen!! Especially with us losing Molina after this year.

I am huge Ozzie fan but as mentioned he doesn't hit well enough in this game. I'd be happy with 50 or 60 power. Just enough to get it over the infield and gap the outfields now and then.

That said, Masyn Winn has been pretty good for me but my heart would rather use Ozzie.

Who do you think the majority of Cards fans would say is your franchise's All-Time greatest catcher? It's got to be Yadi, right? But I feel like there's a good case for Simmons, too. He was before my time, so I'm not as familiar with him as I am with Molina. Either way, they're both all-time greats.

Curious what other Cards fans @Ericulous1_PSN might say, too.

Ted Simmons was a much better hitter than Yadi but Yadi far exceeded him on defense and handling pitchers.

I'm at 430k XP. The last ASG pack is at 400k so there's not much incentive for me to keep grinding this program. The rest of the packs, until you get to the next Ballin Out Of Control pack at 850k, are pretty worthless to me.

I've also been wanting a Ted Simmons card for years. He was my favorite player growing up and he's in the HOF. It would be a great card.

The one that has stood out to me so far is Andres Gimenez. I'm really loving that card so far.

I had much better luck the first month the game was out.

22 is a [censored] trainwreck. I should have known when franchise got NOTHING added to it and all their hype was about Nintendo Switch, crossplay, and co-op. Jesus, trying to wrestle the crown away from EA, and odds are about even at this point...

Not the point, fool. I didn't have any problems with the moments. BP pitchers pitching on the black...nice programming! SDS is a joke. Those of you who defend them are too at this point.

It’s laughable that you immediately think people responding to your trash is defending SDS. Most of us understand and agree with all the nonsense that is wrong with this game, we just don’t feel the need to cry, moan and whine multiple times a day about it.

I just wanted to emphasize the last part of this post.

Hopefully there are hidden rewards because what they're showing is all garbage.

Yea, that was B.S. Starting position players should be guaranteed at least 2 ABs.

Packs are never "worth it". It's always a gamble that you will most likely lose.

I bought two. Got the low round on the first one and then miraculously got the rare round on the second one.
