Umm have you guys ever watched a baseball game before? No real life pitcher has ever had the kind of control that you think you should. Maybe try Call of Duty if you want laser targeting.

I pitched and played third in high school dude. Unfortunately it didn't help the virginity, but luckily lost that in college. Also I already was sitting. You're wrong on so many things maybe you should be more open to criticism.

Steal, stronghold games or regular take over an hexagon by playing instead of simming is the same across the board. I play on AS or HoF and there’s never been any variations in difficulty. Stop making stuff up to justify your shortcomings; play on Vet if you struggle.

I know some long time player posted a big soliloquy a couple days ago because he was done. What drove him away..the zany and occasional glitch in Conquest where you'll simulate a match and he lost 15-2. Had seen it one too many times. Evidently he been complaining about it for years and they wouldn't fix it. Supposedly, if you believe his post, he's done with the game.

Most people that buy this game never land on this forum. They see these things and just think "inferior product" consider the $50 purchase sunk money and never buy it again.

I'm sure most on this forum don't make big announcements..they just quit playing and quit buying.

Some try to change things for the better. When the futility of it sets in, you just find a different game to play or take up a better hobby.

That was a little harsh but I wouldn't call it trolly, I think he was just saying you need to relax a bit. Not just the difficulty level affects the outcome- we all have bad games or get out of sync sometimes. Just like real baseball. You probably really should just do veteran, and then even still you'll probably lose sometimes, especially when you're on tilt. And as far as the sims go, the probability meter never goes 100 percent so you shouldn't assume that'll be a win every time either.

I'm not even talking about the mechanics of the game of baseball and competition.

I'm talking about the failure in the software to distinguish between difficulty levels. Either failure or purposely coded or just the same old DDA that is part of the game engine and effects every part of it equally. Probably just noticed a little more when playing frequent 3 inning games as opposed to playing 9 inning RS games.

I'm sure they're building walls, but they should just leave the corn instead, and if an outfielder has to run into the cornstalks for the ball they should have to just throw it in from there and then they can't come back and have to be subbed out. Like literally can't come back onto the field, just have to wander in the corn the rest of the game and disappear.

I mean come on. Super unrealistic. Mlb would lose 99.9% viewership if it were.
I know there's never been a player who was never caught stealing and you're trying to keep us from having a perfect steal percentage, but seriously. Let me show the pitcher that he can't get me with one extra step, and move on. Maybe 2 in a row sometimes, but not 4 in a row most times. So annoying.

Is there actually anywhere that describes exactly how the advance runner button works? Like how long it needs to be held down to keep your runner from stopping in the basepath? Also why sometimes it doesn't work? I am just so baffled how they screwed it up so much.

I'd say just keep playing 21 it's the exact same game. Or get an Xbox and gamepass so you don't have to pay money to sds

Seems to me I hit too many balls straight up the middle. Shouldn't my timing not be so precise? Shouldn't straight to center be my least most common place to hit?

Hey I was just hoping there was somewhere that explained the intricacies of the method. Just seems inconsistent. And I don't believe you. You probably don't have enough baserunners to experience these issues.

Is it supposed to THE Edgar or is it his deformed lesser known twin? Is he supposed to have been stung by a nest of giant hornets all over his face? Is this an intern's first attempt at a face scan and he accidentally scanned his own [censored] instead? Or maybe they never even looked at a real picture and didn't even try at all? That's the key to majority of the complaints on here. Practice and learn the game. Tired of everything being called a bug or a glitch.

Ok what do you call this: I hit an easy double and hold down L1 and thought it was OK to let go of it after the runner had taken like 8 or 9 steps towards second after rounding first. Dude stops and goes back to first.
So either there's some touchy margins where you need to keep it held till a certain distance away from the base and then let go before they turn the next base, or it's a bug or a glitch. If it's not a glitch then the game should at least explain the technicalities somewhere.
Either way I just quit using the stupid L1.

That's completely true but for me these things become a matter of not wanting to admit defeat. I get time committed. Also gets me mad when like common pitchers with a 43 control rating paint the corners consistently, or someone with a 92mph fastball and 75 velocity throw lightning toilet squirters. I get mad at the programmers for messing with me and I want to prove I'm not their tissue they're skeeting into under their desk when they're supposed to be working. Those guys are as worthless as their discarded baby batter bags and they can't beat me like they do their you-know-what

Just warning everyone who upgrades to the series x to keep one of your old controllers and use that instead. I'm surprised not more people are talking about this because it's so ridiculous that xbox is selling a next generation controller that glitches out on a key part of the only baseball game they've had in almost a decade. Are you on this SDS? I think you've got more sway to influence Microsoft than I do...

My problem has been that I keep getting into freeze offs. 2 in the last 5 games. I wonder how much collective online time of all players is spent with the game frozen. Got to be 30% at least. If you're losing just quit and stop being lame.

I don't think eliminating pitchers from being able to have moments is a very sound idea.

Your are eliminating half the game of baseball essentially, and it's honestly way easier then hitting ones tbh

I knew someone would bring up the half the game thing. It's the lame half. Would you play a game that was only hitting? I bet you would. But if it was only pitching you wouldn't. And yes, it used to be easier, but like I said they made it harder a few days ago. I have to perfect pinpoint every pitch or else who knows where it winds up.

Are you saying there aren't people who think pitching is better? Are you saying they should only cater to you because you love hitting? Step outside of your bubble and realize there are many people who play for different reasons other then your own

Yes that's what I'm saying. Anyone who likes pitching more than hitting is a weirdo and should be red flagged so they can't buy firearms.
