I don't think eliminating pitchers from being able to have moments is a very sound idea.

For what reason?

Your are eliminating half the game of baseball essentially, and it's honestly way easier then hitting ones tbh

I knew someone would bring up the half the game thing. It's the lame half. Would you play a game that was only hitting? I bet you would. But if it was only pitching you wouldn't. And yes, it used to be easier, but like I said they made it harder a few days ago. I have to perfect pinpoint every pitch or else who knows where it winds up.

Are you saying there aren't people who think pitching is better? Are you saying they should only cater to you because you love hitting? Step outside of your bubble and realize there are many people who play for different reasons other then your own

Yes that's what I'm saying. Anyone who likes pitching more than hitting is a weirdo and should be red flagged so they can't buy firearms.

I’ve had no issues with the Series 2 Elite controller. But I’m also still playing on the One X.

Finally got it- stopped power swinging and went normal. I still think it's jacked up though...

I'm just glad they fixed Tony Gwynn this year.

Happens in moments all the time too when we don't control the baserunner. sooo frustrating

See guys?, now you know why I use the term casual noobs? To the OP, how am I able to control my base runners totally fine and you aren't?. Maybe its cause I've practiced enough and learned how to do it?..are you the type of gamer that wants their hands held with everything you play? Or maybe I got a different copy of The Show from you?. That's the key to majority of the complaints on here. Practice and learn the game. Tired of everything being called a bug or a glitch.

Ok what do you call this: I hit an easy double and hold down L1 and thought it was OK to let go of it after the runner had taken like 8 or 9 steps towards second after rounding first. Dude stops and goes back to first.
So either there's some touchy margins where you need to keep it held till a certain distance away from the base and then let go before they turn the next base, or it's a bug or a glitch. If it's not a glitch then the game should at least explain the technicalities somewhere.
Either way I just quit using the stupid L1.

I still call it user error. When you use terms such as "I thought it was ok to let go of it" "runner took 8 or 9 steps towards second then turned back" are indicators that that you don't know how to use it, so therefore it's safe to assume it's user error and not bug or glitch.

I’m gonna back @SCHaCK-NizzLE_XBL on this one. There is no safe way to use L1 to advance runners. It’s not built for accurately controlling multiple runners with different speeds. Best decision you ever made SCHaCK was to ditch L1. Now make another wise decision and switch to classic baserunning. Ditch default 🙂

I agree with you Grizz that it’s not a bug or glitch though. It’s doing the best that it can with a single button.

Question i am wondering is are they using the L Stick along with L1 to designate which runner? All i keep reading is L1 doesn't work. L1 doesn't work by itself never has unless referring to just a single runner.

For stealing in RTTS, you can watch the catcher (knees). Once he moves, that is when you steal for the best timing. Also, I like to hold the back button until I see the catcher move so that I will not get picked off.

I was wondering if when I hit up on the d pad it puts the ranked opponent in the quick pause. I use it to see the stats of the batter since it lags behind showing me the previous batter in the left corner.
