Never happened to me in years, unless I take an extra big lead which makes sense. But just taking a regular lead I have NEVER had the CPU throw over.

You never play vs. CPU then do you? I've had the CPU throw over in the 3rd inning of a conquest game while I'm up 9-0 and the dude has 60 Something Speed and 30 something Stealing. Not 4 times in a row like OP, but saying the CPU "NEVER" throws over is BS.

Happens every game vs. CPU (conquest, too) with a speedster on first. At times, with someone 60 and above. It is annoying because they do two quick pitches and a pitch out, always, before finally throwing a real pitch. Steal or nor no steal. It is time consuming and unrealistic to have three quick steps and a pitch out during every at bat with a runner on first. I agree with OP.

I agree with the OP on this one. I primarily play conquest and the CPU throws over constantly with the standard leadoff. Even if I ever do want to steal, it’s nearly impossible to do so. They will pitch out on the first pitch and when I try to steal on the second pitch, more often than not they will pitch out again. I have never seen this many pitch outs when watching a MLB game.

I also agree with OP. I'm doing the USA conquest map and anytime I have someone on base with 60 speed or more, they pick off all the time. If I get someone with 90+ speed, I get three to four pick off attempt and two pitch outs per at bat. I never take an additional lead off too. No need to with the runners I eventually do steal with.
I loved it yesterday. I'm literally getting cheated against the Padres in the stronghold game and I steal the bag with a 70-ish speed runner. Never attempted it once the entire game. Instant pitch out and they gunned me. Then, the next inning, I pinch hit that Rookie Bryce Harper card and hit a single. Right as the next batter comes up, the CPU picks me off and Bryce just stands there and doesn't attempt to go back. Picked off.
It just get ridiculous sometimes.

This is not true. They are throwing over a lot on me and I don’t take extra steps ever. Sometimes even 3-4 times in a row.

Conquest with anyone with a half decent steal rating will get an obligatory throw over and/or pitchout. If you have anyone with good speed its at least 2 pitchouts per AB and maybe a slidestep pitch as well.
My favorite though are definitely the moments when there's a guy on first and you just need some hits and every AB takes 3x as long....or worse...theres 2 outs and you need 1 more hit and the dude gets thrown out stealing or picked off...thats a fun way to end one of those.

Happens in moments all the time too when we don't control the baserunner. sooo frustrating
