I use analog pitching and I get "good" releases all the time and they will miss the spot by a lot. Like for example ill try to aim my slider for low and away on the dotting the corner for a strike and it will be 3/4 of the way down and more towards the middle or sometimes 6 inches below the strikezone and in the middle.

This happens on every pitch I have so you can't say It's because I dont have a high control rating for that certain pitch.

I feel like analog takes a lot of user input out of it. Heck even on pinpoint perfect pitches miss by a good bit sometimes. Idk honestly I just pitch and pray it doesn’t go over the middle at this point 😂

Umm have you guys ever watched a baseball game before? No real life pitcher has ever had the kind of control that you think you should. Maybe try Call of Duty if you want laser targeting.

    Several reasons...
    The pitchers actual control rating.
    The pitchers break.
I know what you mean, however. There's nothing worse than thinking you just put a slider on the paint and watching it float into the middle of the plate.
    It happens.
I would suggest trying the most idiotic and unrealistic perk of The Show 21-- pinpoint pitching!
Turn Mitch Williams and Rick Vaughn into Gregg Maddux!
It's like zone hitting for pitchers near as I can tell. Master it and you can probably throw shutouts with Common Flashback Kyle Kendrick.

No [censored] jerkoff but when it's a good release it should be in the general area... these misses are not.

I guarantee you've never stepped on a field before.... Now sit down virgin.

I pitched and played third in high school dude. Unfortunately it didn't help the virginity, but luckily lost that in college. Also I already was sitting. You're wrong on so many things maybe you should be more open to criticism.

And no real-life pitcher has ever faced a whole team with 100+ attributes in a game, legends and sauced up cards. So what's your point? It shouldn't go both ways??

It's already pretty balanced. It's pretty easy to live on the edges and corners, and it's probably exactly because you're pitching against those legends and allstars. If your release is less than perfect, it makes total sense for you to be at the mercy of the pitcher's ratings like control, energy, and the confidence for that specific pitch. If it was too easy then no one would ever get a mistake down the middle to hit and nobody would play anymore. The point was that they're obviously trying to make it realistic and also fun.

    PPP > meter > analog > pulse > classic.

You’re using the 3rd most efficient (or less) pitching interface

Are you saying Meter is the 2nd most efficient?
That's what I use. Feels more natural than the others to me.

As someone else mentioned you’re using analog which is the 3rd most user input friendly pitching mechanic and there are other things that play a role in pitch location especially when you don’t have a perfect pitch. The pitchers control and control of that pitch are huge factors.

Yep; that is what they detailed in the pitching pre-release stream. It was supposed to be relative to each method’s input difficulty, but based on difficult to easy I’d personally go meter > PPP > analog

Interesting. I actually love the analog pitching. Even with it being 3rd most efficient. And I can slice people up in RS with pretty much any pitcher without issue. So idk, what OP talking about.
