Yeah, this is seriously half-a$$ed. The black and white hurts my eyes, but I would put up with it more if they had put a little more effort in. Period-appropriate uniforms, fan clothing, players on the teams, stadiums, etc.
Is there a way to turn off the black and white saturation in moments from the past? I want to play all of them in just normal coloration. This is very distracting and makes it difficult to play these moments.

The stat you mentioned is not correct. Per the link you attached, he has thrown 21 innings in the minors and 5 innings in the majors. The rest of his innings were in college. Last I checked college ball is not minor league. It does seem very strange to have RP listed as a secondary for him, when he does not currently qualify as a two way player. The stat you referenced undermines any argument for having it listed.

^^this. People are so childish. The only reason I would ever message someone is to compliment them, thank them for the game, or ask them a question like how they like using a specific player or something like that. Anything else should not be sent. Contrary to what others have implied, no, Sony did not implement a messaging tool so that you could spam other players. That stuff should you get banned 100% of the time, and I am very glad to hear it is happening.

You understand you’re not like transporting to the past right? We are in 2021 playing a game on a tv that displays in color. I don’t want to be forced to play something in black and white. I get why they have it that way, but I don’t need the reminder that I am using a player who played decades ago. It was cute the first time. Now I want to just play.

I’ve played The Show for years, since 2013 I think other than missing the last two years, so I am very familiar with the market and stub tax. In previous years I occasionally bought stubs but have not the last few years that I have played and would not consider it now.
I was thinking this morning, we all accept the stub tax when selling cards, and if you (like me) are not purchasing stubs, then the stub tax is just part of the game. But when someone purchases stubs, buys a player, and then sells the player, they are having a portion of what they paid for taken back from them by SDS. How is this legal? It’s been this way for as long as I can remember, but I can’t believe there hasn’t been a lawsuit over this.
Maybe it’s just me and I’m missing it, but when I am looking at the stats of a card it does not show the player’s team. Most of them are really obvious, but for some of the flashbacks it is difficult at first glance to tell which team the card is for. Like for example, Richie Ashburn 86 card from the 3rd Inning program. If I really squint I can make out the little “P” on his hat and guess that he was a Phillie. But no where on the card does it say that. If I remember correctly it used to say the player’s team on the top of the screen, next to their name. Am I remembering wrong? Was this taken out? Adding the player’s team would be a very minor change that would make it quicker to tell the team when glancing at cards.

I am really curious. I feel like doing the xp glitches that people talk about (intentional walk ones) are a cheat. I’m not talking about people randomly being awarded insane amounts of xp, if that is actually happening. But the videos all over YouTube of people just walking like 1,000 guys to get a ton of xp. Obviously the game was not designed to be played this way. Isn’t this an exploit that should result in a ban? Is SDS doing something about this? Are people being banned this year?
I would hazard a guess that understanding how the market works is too advanced for some of the younger players of the game.
I haven’t made this mistake because I haven’t played team affinity much, but I have read so many posts about people accidentally pulling dupes of the 42 series players in Team Affinity program and not being able to fix it.
Easy solution, SDS make an exchange within Team Affinity where you can exchange one 42 series card for any other 42 series card from the same division. They’re not sellable and I can’t imagine why it would possibly benefit someone to have like 5 Anthony Santanders or whatever, so I don’t think there would be any reason someone would abuse it. Perfect solution imo, and they have done something like this in the past.

I think it’s funny they gave Glasnow a POTM card. I really like the guy and will love using his card so I’m not complaining, but it’s clearly just a token card because they know they won’t have the opportunity to do other cards with him being injured.
They won’t give stubs. If they do anything it’ll be like a 10 pack

The real Topps Now cards are only available for 24 hours to purchase so it is a very limited print run. Expensive at $10 per card but would have value in the long run
I’m honestly shocked at the amount of free content in DD. I played every year from 2013-2018 but got tired of it and had two kids lol. First year back and I just am truly stunned at how much stuff there is in DD that is accessible to everyone. Without putting any extra money into the game I can have a pretty stacked team and have my choice of some of my favorite players. I also love how they’re pushing the prospects… As an O’s fan, to have a Rutschman card, Gunnar Henderson, and Grayson Rodriguez, all of which are totally useable, it’s a fun time to play. Also just how many easy and free ways there are to get cards and stubs. I have been as annoyed as everyone else about the server issues, but they seem to be mostly good now. And I really gotta hand it to SDS, the DD content is great. Thank you!
