Stop, this is excessive whining now.
Overall rating isn't that important. A 95 can play a lot better than a 99 in this game.
If you can’t win a conquest game on allstar or HOF you should probably stop playing.
The Reds owner hates the Reds too

Your fielders are 'diving' because your controller is broken. It's NEVER the game.
Probably an exclusive reward for the Father's day conquest map and program? Hoping it's a Prince Fielder reveal! The power rating makes sense, Atrin is a Brewers fan, and a Fielder is a notable father - son duo.
I would recommend using button accuracy for fielding, any throwing error will be the user's fault, instead of leaving it up to chance.
You will know what pitch is coming with Correa, so that is nice! As long as your stadium noises are turned up all the way.
Don't stress too much about 1000 stubs, man.
@krazy-kajun77 said in 97 Yordan POTM:
Funny since Schwarber was legit named player of the month yet they give the in game honor to another player sounds about right. Can't see me diving in for just another outfielder since it's already a crowded position as is.
For the NL... Yordan was the AL player of the month so they are both deserving. There is no MLB player of the month.
I can't use him with his card art saying shortstop, but primary position 2nd base. A simple double-checking error is ridiculous.

If EA can prevent it being pay to win with micro tranactions & limits it to being for only ingame currency like SDS does with stubs. Then I geel they can put a great product out that will give SDS a new found priority to really change & improve stuff for the best. Many remember how awesome EA MVP 04 & 05 was for it's time. It was without a doubt the BEST Baseball game out at the time. If EA follows that original mold & applying the lastest modern tech & software to it. And can offer enough content without it being micro transactioned. Then it surely will be better then MLBTS. Too many are frustrated & tired & disappointed with what MLBTS has become. The compliants, rants & comments in here are like a plague. EA releasing MVP again will have many flock to it just to try it & see for themselves if it is better or not. If it is better for most. Then SDS will have lost a big huge chunk of people. I myself can not wait for the release of EA MVP Baseball again.

The games in 04 and 05 were not online... therefore no need for any micro transactions. So if the game didn't have a DD type mode they could do it, but that would not be a very popular game.
You can't have content in game without micro transactions.
Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in?

Series such as Awards, Signature, and Prime have boosted ratings. With Breakout, Allstar, rookie, veteran, etc. always having the same rating system as the live series. That being said giving Aquino a 94-rated Rookie series card has to be a joke right?? There is no way that an unboosted series card for a player with terrible defense and 119 OPS+ through 56 games would ever come out to a 94. Pujols boosted Rookie of the Year Awards series card is a 95, Mookie Betts MVP season All-Star series card is a 95, and Yelich MVP season breakout series card is a 91... what is going on here? As a question do you use a created player? As an answer, I do not. I ask because in general when questions like this are asked the person asking uses a card or CAP that negates their concerns. Now to address you concerns I think there are 3 things at play. SDS is has changed their approach to card release this year and are being very mindful to not release 99 right away as such more cards are release for series with higher rating we are use to seeing. Which I think is an internal switch for SDS on how to scale things. I personal think this year we get less 99s then we have since 2018 SDS is going to release a mega tone amount of cards for collections which is where the 99s will come from as such need to inject alpt.of new cards and fudge their numbers a bit. SDS is embracing a more fantasy style with some stuff resulting in these more juiced cards to show up to fit into a nerititve for example a big power bat rookie card for the moonshot event.

I do not mind going with more a fantasy style for card progression, they just need to revamp the card series more next year. This being a rookie series just does not follow the traditional rating systems. In general the progression of cards has been good this year, Im just picky haha
@eatyum_psn said in Aquino...Rookie Series 94?:
Meh, it's not like people will be climbing over each other to use it in ranked, so I'm not very hung over what series card or what rating it is
Yeah, for sure. I just think this is proof they need to revamp the current card series concept for next year. I get into the whole card series thing more than others, probably. The progression this year is nice, this just doesn't fit into being a traditional Rookie Series
@the_dragon1912 said in Aquino...Rookie Series 94?:
It's just the series that makes no sense. If this was an August 2019 POTM card it would have made perfect sense
This is exactly my point!! Thank you! I have no issue with giving him a 94 overall for a fun few months, but it should not be a rookie series.
