I may have a better chance of pulling Trout from a free pack than I do of seeing my Twitch drops.

A monitor is not gonna change your ability to recognize pitches, you’ll just see more frames as it blazes by you. I’m on a Samsung 4K tv, with Xbox one S, and I don’t see the need to enhance anything about my setup. You need to look for your pitch, be patient, don’t get bent out of shape when things don’t work out. Pitching is going to be the bugaboo because guys can smash and all the big time cards are insanely Op.

Nah, I’ll pass, personally. My main focus is to get better on hall of fame and above and if it gets patched, I want to be ahead. I’ve always contact swung on 0-2 counts in year’s past since it’s almost always a waste pitch.

Phht. Don’t matter who I play I get 10-15 strikeouts a game but lose on Texas leaguers abs a fortuitous bomb . Meanwhile I hit 4-7 to the warning track. Game is rigged af. I mean a dude that can’t touch [censored], shouldn’t be getting 8 bloops abs 2 rando blasts.... it isn’t competitive. It’s totally rigged and made to make crappy players be able to compete. Make 500 and above hot please

Just putting this out there for peeps that are no money spent and don't want to spend stupid time flipping on the market... I bought the $100 digital deluxe, no money spent, no crazy flipping (couple one off here or there for a quick couple thousand), and I just bought Mike Trout for 400,069.

I have AL Central done, only need Bregman, Rendon, and cards under diamond to finish Astros and Angels... I have Yanks and Sox left in east...

If you want to do this you have to be willing to sell cards and not keep everything you earn. I chose Piazza and held him, I also bought the other two bosses when they dropped to under 30k since it was announced when the inning end you can't complete, lack of supply meant their price would boost. Sold Valenzuela for 103k, Piazza for 55k, Lofton for 48k... I sold all of my April Topps Nows (except for 3 collected) for big time gains. I collected lots of Rewards from doing a CAP pitcher and blasting through RTTS (AL team DH) and using my CAP in conquest for stats in the archtype program, I got 20 points until the diamond path is fully completed... I did the conquest maps (except for USA and TA division maps) and sold off any non-live series diamonds I got except for brad Miller and rookie Kenley... Most important I bought 0 packs and just do packs via rewards, there's so many.

It can be done, it took me 1 month. You have to be willing to sell off some cards you like (like Piazza for me) to get it done but it is certainly doable and I have a great team for RS, especially considering all the studs in the POTM program you get for free and 42s like Gallo.

You get so many stubs and rewards from playing you just need to save save save.

Thanks for making my point that doing collections on no money spent is absolutely horrid. So you still have the entire NL, big money Yankees and some other AL teams. You are no where close to being done. By the time you get to 40 wins in RS or get to WS (pending you can do these), those awards will probably be around 50k. Not even half of what it cost to get Cole.

I mean it's not exactly horrid, I got Trout and Rickey in my OF right now... Only NYY, BOS, TB left... I got 43k and will have my inning 2 boss soon who I will sell. I have the Topps Nows from May in my inventory to sell off once the May POTM drops and those prices skyrocket. I will have AL completed in 2 weeks when those Topps prices peak.

Oh, and did I mention I own 222 Tyler Glasnows? That makes me a millionaire when he goes diamond, or I could quicksell all duplicates now and finish AL today if I really wanted to.

Full collection wasn't meant to be done immediately, especially no money spent and without flipping, I'll have it done before the All Star Game though.

Sure, it takes time, but just illustrating that if you are smart with your resources, save stubs, you can get Trout (and do the full collection) without spending money or hours of flipping. It's called patience.

It doesn’t work for RTTS either. very frustrating.

Or better yet. If you skip straight to the end you get ten vouchers, but if you lose you lose ten vouchers (which the game will keep track of). Now you actually got some skin in the game.

I literally did this to myself by accident once. I picked a night game in july and for the 1st 4-5 innings I literally could see nothing until the ball was on me. I think I ended up winning the game because he got so lazy figuring I couldn't hit anything I lit him up once the sun went down, all of a sudden I couldn't miss.

Maybe it's good practice, if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball right?

People like me are why they do it, because if I'm hurting for wins I just go ahead and help them. At least in my experience theyve all been honest, and one guy even offered to help me out too before he quit.

Use him as my left fielder mostly because I never used Griffey in the previous years...he's not bad I find myself really guessing more on pitches with him than actually just reacting to where the pitch is thrown playing HOF. I would say he's been far and away better than my other LF options namely Bellinger and Minoso but I would certainly prefer slightly more contact. Side note to anyone out there who can explain this but why do most of these cards have higher contact against lefties knowing his HRD pitcher was right handed and he definitely hit more home runs than "outs" (god I miss that old format) so in theory he should also have 90-100 contact against righties just my opinion

3-79 (puig is the cheapest) and 1-78 is all you need for the gold exchange.

250 for 2 Vizcaino is cheaper than any 78 on the market.

N, in this equation should not exist. And based off the information you told us it does not.

Because either you are “Good” Timing, which is either JE, or JL. Or you are N, which in relation to the standard, that means you’re “Perfect.”

I’ve said it from the release that, “Good” doesn’t exist anymore with the existence of perfect. Either you are Good Early, or Good Late. Because the whole equation is based off of what is now a “Perfect” response.

In the instances of Good/Okay, the analysis timing was JE or JL, not N.

N still exists in the analysis, most notably in Good/Good. N is certainly in the game.

P is Perfect, which is even better timing than N, and required for Perfect/Perfect.

The point is if you are receiving Good/Okay with good PCI placement, it's because when you go to batter analysis the timing is really JL or JE. If the timing were N, you would have gotten Good/Good. The in game feedback is considering JE, JL, N all the same category and resulting in your Good/Okay outcomes when your PCI placement is good, but your timing is actually just early or late.

Was looking at this the other day, and I agree. It's good feedback. If only we could get that live in-game and didn't have to check the analysis to see it. It would help adjust on the fly.

Basically I see the N-P correlation as this: You're only going to get a P when you have perfect-perfect, which is perfect timing and, supposedly, perfect PCI contact. The N is still in place for things like good-good and good-squared. So, in essence, you could have "perfect timing" without perfect PCI contact and that's when you'll get the N instead of the P. it's a result of your PCI contact with the same timing.

That said, it would still be nice if a good-OK that gets you a JE or JL timing analysis would show it in the batter feedback. I've wondered for quite some time if the feedback in general was just off at times.

Could be fun....would either overlap with start of 2nd season for those who lose early or there would be a gap in timing from one season to the next (I'd prefer the overlap tbh).

That said....I'd rather they start with better rewards across the tiers and give me an option to get some small amount of stubs for the duplicate banners/icons you get every season (or just stop handing them out if the user has one).
