has anyone had increased issues of choppy pinpoint pitching on xbox since like last friday? i cant throw a perfect pitch to save my life and sliders are constantly hanging now because of it. this is with an elite series controller too (im aware of the issue with regular xbox one controllers) I had no issues at all with pinpoint until sometime last week / early weekend.

sucks for them if they are... i paid less than 300k for Ohtani when he came out. all the cards went up after they were out of packs and I didn't need alonso, vladdy, or peralta to complete it.

betts i just waited for potm to drop and had to buy like 4 signature cards for a total of about another 200k.. everything else was obtained by playing the last few months or buying the cards when they were dirt cheap around the all-start game / TA3 release

Personally yes. Probably not why you think tho. He will be a good 2B and great bench! But along the way to mookie you also have to have/get lots of really good cards that you have to have for him which means you will also get those cards on your team. You will need Ohtani and if you don’t already have him then when you get him you will have him and mookie. But if you were to say just lock in stubs then no because you don’t get the cards along the way. Thoughts?

I completely agree...the last few days I have heard so many comments about how many millions of stubs Mookie costs and it just isn't true. All the cards required to get Mookie costs the stubs and because you have those, you get Mookie. If you truly are spending millions of stubs just for Mookie, then you are doing it wrong. It definitely doesn't make sense to spend all the stubs for one card...but to spend them for the entire package is a completely different story.

People say you will never use all those cards...but if you play events consistently, you will definitely start using cards you never thought you would have.

Just stop. All the cards you need for Mookie will also be needed for the next collection and then some. There's a good chance there will be one more after that, and all the cards you'll need for the next one, will also be needed for the final one. Now if you don't want Aaron, Mantle, Trout, or whoever the final collect is, then yeah, you don't need to collect for Mookie. If, however, you do want the final collect, you'll have Mookie and whoever else is in the collect path.

So you can say he’s worth it. Not that he doesn’t cost stubs. He costs at least 2 million stubs. And that mookie is what they are rewarding you with for locking those stubs in.

I don't have him yet as I'm waiting to do the POTM and then ill have him... and this week i spent 60k stubs on two 'signature' cards I needed and I'm skipping the 'milestone' collection because i needed 5 of those... everything else I already had just by playing the game and/or buying cards when they were extremely cheap because of all the packs that TA3 gave and the flash sales that made headliners extremely cheap previously.. we knew there was going to be another collection at some point with increased requirements. If I had to guess, in total I might have spent 300-500k.. but since spending that over a couple weeks, I made that back easy with investments / playing the game.

It boggles my mind when people are like "L! this card costs like 3 mil stubs" yeah it would cost that much now if you haven't played at all this year and are starting from close to nothing

Edward Cabrera is close..
Soriano, Trout, & Jackie were all parallel IV somewhat close to V but all those TA3 cards made me want to try different bats out

following... i know you used to be able to play on any difficulty and get that, not sure when it stopped but i know it was a while ago

why would he rise in price? im sure the majority of people playing already have him to complete the red sox collection.. and even if they dont.. the only way he goes up in price is if he gets an upgrade and goes to 90+ because then he'll become more rare for future pulls of him, but again... there's already so many of him out there that i don't think it would matter.

I get all the other stuff that is just as inconsistent but done, I suspect, to maintain parity through a DDA scheme of some sorts.

But, for God's sake, how can one Conquest game on HoF be a cakewalk where you score 5 in the first then just purposely start over-running singles/doubles just to get outs to end the game. Forget the AI team ever hitting the ball because they don't.

The very next game with the exact same pitcher/lineup against a like rated AI team/pitcher that 71 pitcher will start throwing unhittable fast-balls (the 'ol stand-by "very late") at the very top of the zone. 80 David Fletcher suddenly fouls off 9 pitches in order to force one in the zone that he promptly bruises.

It's undoubtedly also DDA code that is just very poorly written. C'mon guys, it's embarrassing to frustrate the fan-base with such amateurish code. It's like going to McDonald's and ordering a Big Mac and getting a $hit Sandwich.

I see similar things in the EA games as well, but.................WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY?

Easy - to sell stubs. DD is a trash mode that needs to die.

its not though.. who actually buys stubs? when its so easy to get them

still an equal playing field... your in the minority though.. most people would rather play games that are high scoring and close as opposed to 1-0 games where each team struggles to get 1 hit

this is the truth.. had two errors with him in back to back innings.. both of which should have been double plays

Finally unlocked Acuna, along with Rivera. And my buy order for Al Leiter went through, so I can use him now. Unlocked Prince Fielder as well, and hit 300k XP. Lastly, I can now sell 15 prospects from the USA map since I don't need them now.

Maybe now I can play an RS game after all this grinding. Just sharing this here because shockingly this doesn't impress anyone in my day-to-day life.

I helped my wife refinish old furniture, hit a major jackpot on a slot, then spun a 10X multiplier, and went to bed with more money than I woke up with.

except you're in a forum that's literally for this specific game mode of this specific game.. your accomplishments on the slot machine + helping your wife are probably more fb status worthy since it might impress someone you know...
