Content is always good, but when early, red zone swings on pitches low and away result in no-doubt pulled bombs and good timing/center PCI balls have exit velo's of 85-90mph and float to the OF....the game is not playing well.

I don't know if it is actually real, but I can swear it feels like it exists.
Games where you strike out the other guy like 16x, they look lost at the plate but manage to get a one or 2 early swing HRs late in the game while on the other side good timing/contact has terrible exit velos and launch angles.
I've had games where easy playable grounders get past my IFs or bloop singles on very late swings happen and you can predict a forced hanger next pitch or 2 will result in a 2 run shot.
I think Allstar is just not a very good difficulty when it comes to balance...
Don't like getting bunted on against the shift? Turn the shift off.
You better believe I'm trying to bunt at least once with a lefty against someone like Hader or Chapman in a close game if they bring those guys in to face my better lefty hitters.
Its one thing to situationally bunt, its another to build your lineup around speed dudes and just bunt every at bat imo.

H/9 competes against hitters contact rating to determine the inner PCI size. Higher H/9, the smaller the PCI.
BB/9 I think helps with control but it also just might be a sim stat. Not entirely sure.
K/9 is supposed to help generate swings/misses instead of foul tips.

I can see why, they are really lacking in good flashback cards for their team.
Anyone who understands how this game works should have easily known it wouldn't be Judge. Even as a Yankee fan myself, the guy has a 94 LS and a 97 AS card. Plus Riley has far and away the better numbers anyway.
I've never understood why fans have such a hard time being objective (this goes for most, if not all, teams)

Pretty much. Nothing says rewarding like grooving an 0-2 pitch for a HR on perfect release/input. I'm all for card stats mattering but the amount of override is ridiculous.
Really? We're a month into the game and we've already managed to flip from "I finished the program a week ago, there's no point in playing with wasted xp" to "There's no point in going further, packs aren't worth it"
I shouldn't be shocked but SDS finally fixes something people have requested since Inning 1 in 2021 and we're already complaining about it.
I will be gunning for the full 750k because I like ripping packs and hate paying for them. Who knows, might get lucky.

If you're going to do that, I would recommend making him throw an inning first so he gets his stamina nerfed for the next game and the guy has to use someone else.

I know I’ve posted about sinkers a few times, but I was wondering if anyone else feels similarly. I guess most people who do stopped playing, but in the last 3 or 4 years the pitch has just made the game extremely unfun. You can sit on the pitch, know it’s coming inside, and it’s still unhittable. Every game now is just a 3-2 sinker fest with unrealistic sinkers flying all over the zone. Used to play a lot and be World Series, now I can barely play a game without being completely burnt out. Clearly they have no intention of fixing it. Oh well. Guess the few times I play will be RTTS
I am not the greatest player but I don't have that much of an issue with them , any issues I do have I blame on the user - I swing at everything lol - You have to learn to hit them - under is a pop up on top is a grounder - you have to square it up and go with it , trying to pull an outside sinker is a very low success rate.
It’s just tough because unless you know for sure it’s coming, it looks like offspeed and then cuts armsife like it’s a slider

Real life sinkers don't rise out of the hand, so no. The sinkers in this game are broke and have been for years. Maybe your eye isn't good enough to see it.
My biggest issue is that high sinkers don't flatten out like they are supposed to. They made them less accurate but that doesnt really fix the issue of it still moving 6+ inches up in the zone. High sinkers are supposed to be mistakes.
I miss injuries tbh (and yes I'm sure I'm one of the very few that do).
Yeah it sucked losing a key player but it also put emphasis on building a bench to cover positions accordingly. Made that AS Zobrist card a beast. I also really enjoyed it when idiots would randomly dive/jump on high fly balls because they wanted to troll and then got messages their CAP got injured.

There is no such thing as "too many end game pitchers". The more end game pitchers means more variety which is a good thing. Same with all the juiced up high diamond releases everyone wants to complain about. Variety is good. I dont think anyone really wants to go back to having the same lineups face each other every game.

Also your argument if Schwarber was the lightning card would you have grinded for it cause if so your argument about Alverz is flawed cause Schwarber would be just another outfielder as well
People wanting to grind for Schwarber but not Alvarez makes no sense (or vice versa) as they are basically the same exact card.... Both LFs. Both Slow (schwarb daddy probably a bit slower) and Alvarez would probably have a stronger arm. Neither are going to be great corner OFs but will mash. Both are at best PHs.
Anyone thinking they were going to give a Schwarber Lightning card a secondary C position probably would be disappointed since he had C last year on his LS but not this year.
EDIT: Apparently Schwarber LS is actually a bit faster (47 vs 38 lol) also Schwarber has a blocking stat despite not having a C secondary.

If you're stuck in the 400-600s, you're probably better off using LS Chapman and using the stubs to boost your team elsewhere.
If you're fully happy with your team and don't want/can't improve it anymore....then why not spend it upgrading the pen.

Yeah had one that died on the wall back there myself. Just took a day for Ruiz to run home, was funny. I've had some strange goings lately, like a ball bounce off my left fielder's glove for a HR, bounced a good 6 feet off the glove.
Think my current favorite fake out is the HRs that hit off the facing of the upper deck will show where the ball will land on a ricochet so its like "hey you got a chance!....for a souvenir"

I will be the first one to admit on this forum... yes, I do these things.
I find myself often saying "wow there is no way that should have gotten through" or "never should have made contact on that swing" for some of my hits. I definitely notice when I hit HRs that are fringe PCI or early swings because I know I'd be annoyed when I give those up.
The unfortunate part is that these issues are so common we are at a place were its like "well...i've been burned by that same stuff so I'll take those" situations.
Anyone want to tell him there's going to be like 4 more of these over the next few months?
Not like the game continually provides content that mirrors what the actual MLB is doing....
PS -- the cards will be useful for future collections and the jerseys are chunk xp for the current program. They are easy to do.
Yeah the diving stops need to get tweaked. Had a guy in events take 1 step and dive waaaay to early. Should have been an easy single but he slid like 20 feet and ball went right into his glove.
Who needs to worry about diamond defense this year when any player is going to make amazing diving stops every few innings.
It was the first event at launch and ended like 2 weeks ago
